I love how some people tend to think 10 was a downgrade like 4 5 and 7 were, when both 9 and 10 were just re-hashes of 2, yet they praise 9 when 10 did the exact same thing it did and more..
@NewZen41 9 was way better than 10. 10 was a game that tried to be serious, but failed miserably. the music wasn't that great and the overall experience was lacking. 9 blew everyone away with its catchy music in great megaman standard that it lived up too. levels were really hard and had perfect balance and the overall experience was THE best way to relive the glory days of megaman in 8-bit. you play MM9, you feel the talent that was put into the whole thing. you play mm10, its a quick cash-in.
I'd have them both; the only thing that disghusts me in 10 are the weapons and ProtoMan, that's it. Other than that, I actually enjoyed them both, but the fact that Mega Man was downgraded back to his, "Glory Days" made me iffy in respects-we get it, Inafune, you liked 2. However, how many times must you insist on making references to 2 before IT becomes stale? That's all I asked on the presentation of 9 and 10.
That is where I disagree. I found the level design in 10 to be boring to the point where I have had it since day one on the Wii and day on on the PS3 (it's something I do alright, I like the Playstation controller more. But I couldn't wait so I bought the Wii version as well. My money leave me alone)
and I still haven't finished it because I don't like it. I got to Wily and quit. Just bored.
I found the level design poor compared to 9 and the music downright sucked.
@snake2006 meh, I felt like the level desing was great, in megaman 9 must of the stuff is reused, and megaman 10 has all new stuff, but hey, thats just my opinion
On the final boss, I used Snake Man's power to beat it, not Top Mans. I honestly didn't know you could use Top Man's power on the final boss, lol.

10 had horrible level design
The Music sucked more than ANY other Mega Man game
Most of the problems from 10 stem from the inclusion of the easy mode.

@snake2006 the easy mode was for beginners, so the people that never played megaman can play the game in an easy mode
the level design was more innovative that in megaman 9, the music was OK, way inferior than megaman 9 but still ok
