Found out how to revert back after the win 7 ultimate sht.. (i was using win7 home)

I went to control panel>system and security>backup and restore and then i used 'restore all my files' to get back to a previous day, before i downloaded win7 ultimate. I lost some small things i did between the time frame but was the only fix i found... its like the quote 'better to loose a limb then to loose your life'

@Zachadude1 I dont think this is a backup mate, it just restores your pc to a point before an update. so technically, you dont need to have a backup to do this, or so i think. I didnt have a backup when i used this method.

that says 'Recover system settings or your computer' it doesnt use backup as a restore point but rather a time before an update, that is if you updated windows.

Start>Control Panel\System and Security\Backup and Restore> Recover system settings or your computer

should be last thing listed on Backup and Restore

It does not use Backup as the restore point so dont worry if you didnt backup or not, it uses restore points before an update that are made automatically (notice when you update, it always says 'creating restore point...' before it shows the install % ?)
