  • thanks for the moves! I have a 4lb medicine ball so now I can do those exercises!

  • Found 3 things today to make me a better golfer!!

    3. And now this video

  • hey hey! Have you heard the talk about - fast abs magic (do a google search)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my sister got beautiful 6 pack abs and lost lots of fat with it.

  • You can find the squishy ones from "5 below"

  • I am looking for the squishy 2lb, 3lb, and 4lbs squishy medicine balls. Anyone know where I can buy them? Is there a specific name for the squishy type? Thanks~!

  • nice S(es) haha

  • Hey. you should do more vid routines like this one. This routine has been one of my faves for a long time. More 10X20s please:)

  • awesome video and ur abs look great !!!

  • converse ftw x3

  • looks like a basketball more then a med. ball

  • Great work with the medicine ball, I love how you don't need to use any of the machines in that gym. Check out the medicine ball workouts from TrueFitnessSD on youtube and facebook, you will definitely enjoy them!

  • Has anyone tried this for a longer period of time and saw any big changes? I've been doing this for 2 or 3 weeks now and I've already seen that I've "forced" my stomach to loose some weight, it's awesome.

  • @oktaybahceci sorry but what do you mean by "forced" ?

  • Thank YOU!

  • This is a great video. But alot of these workout you can do with a kettlebell.

  • I want to buy a medicine ball but I zm curious about something rather simple: can't you do some of the med ball exercise with weights? Regarding some exercises, exactly what makes a medicine ball a better buy than, say, a light pair of dumbbbells? Take something like twists with a med ball: what makes a med ball better than a pair of dumbbbells? Note that I am not attacking med balls, as I will probably buy one anyway; I just want to know why they are better than weights for certain exercises.

  • What weight ball should I use. I am only a beginner.

  • thank god for this i hate doing crunches

nice shaved armpits by the way :p

  • IF you are an athlete or into body building, losing fat you should know the name Craig Ballantine (hope I spelled it right) He's the man that can keep up with anyone from big bodybulders to lean, he's a pure example of someone in tune with his body. If you want to be fit and strong you should strive to be like Craig. Even the big guys like Vince Delmonte or John Romaniello mention him in their programs and categorize him as an example for awesomeness.

  • What kind of weight is recommended for someone who's not fit but not massively unfit ?

  • CAN U USE A 5KG BALL FOR THIS WORKOUT

  • @lokrenzo im currently using a 6kg ball...takes abit of time to get used to, but yea 5 kg works well

  • Excersises 2,3, 4 worked my legs and butt muscles!!

  • Comment removed

  • Nice.....he's wearing great shoes for his workout.

  • i thoght converses are bad 4 this

  • hes a PRO, so if he wears a chucks it's because there's no problem at all.

  • He's

  • i am starting the pole shift survival group.

let me know if you are interested.

  • I'm going through a medicine ball phase now - it's great to switch things up as opposed to lifting iron all the time.

Plus the exercises are great fun.

I recommend this form of training to anyone who wants to hit harder and last longer

  • Good stuff to do in pairs

  • Excellent. I want to buy a medicine ball for this.

  • i have a medicine ball and it's really working for me. Thanks for the demo.

  • great exercises. what's a good weight to start out with? i have a heart valve problm so i have problems lifting heavy weights.

  • This is a great workout, thanks!

  • excellent vid! thx!

  • that was great.

  • guys chill learn dont dish out on each other

  • thank you !

  • can you just use soccer ball?

  • no you cant.. the medicine ball usually weighs at least 4+ lbs

  • no because soccer balls are light

medicine balls are weighted which is the whole point of it, it adds weight which makes it harder

    they range from 4-12 lbs

  • There are heavier medicine balls out there. I'm currently doing all these with an 18lbs medicine ball

  • are you an idiot?

  • umm ok look mr.cool guy , my step father said there was a way you can workout with a soccer ball and i didnt know witch workout he was talking about so i searched it and found this video so no im not...keep looking for workout videos fat boy

  • you hang on a bar hold the ball between your feet and raise..lower..

  • yeh, put a hole in it and fill it with sand then plug it o tape it

  • this man is workong out in chucks you know his feet hurt lmao! but great workout in all

  • they used to do this with a thing called a swing bell witch is basically a bar with the weights in the middle

  • cool video, improve the sound quality though.

  • Great stuff... Maybe you could work on the Audio Skills..very bad sound

  • great for me, short & sweet & fits into a busy schedule! Thanks!

  • I am definitely integrating these to my workout, thanks very much!!!

  • Nice, reminds me of the Vortex Workout.

  • Craig,

Nice workout! People can really see improvement if they do this workout!

  • hey cool vid thanks i saw it on menshealth today hey im doing the advanced version i guess im using a 20 pound dummbell cause i dont want to waste money on a medicine ball

  • i`ve never used a medicine ball before what weight ball should i use?

  • Oh my, I did it thinking it would be ok... my body hurts, specially the legs! It is very good exercise and a very good set, I loved it and I'll keep it up. Thanks!

  • Hello,

I'm french but I do your training every day..

I like how intense it is =)

    Thank you !

  • being french has nothing to do with it dude lol

  • Thanks for the kind words! I'm happy to hear that you are all enjoying the medicine ball workouts.

  • @cbathletics Do you work rest into these sets or do them back to back. Sorry I dont have sound on my laptop and cant hear the words.

  • @cbathletics I have a 10 pound medicine ball, is that good enough?

  • 2 pts for wearin chucks! -50 pts for no shirt! Good exercises and explained and performed with perfect form.

  • These are amazingly intense! Thanks Craig, you're the best ;-)

  • y is he wearing converses while working out..?

  • Video is great. Please fix the sound.

  • He's really good. He talks common sense. He's telling you to stay away from bagged and boxed food. Others include mike geary and the dieticians they talk about..he gives you a bodyweight workout that can make you sweat under 20 min..how bad is that??

  • There's no way he's 5ft5? Is he really.....suppose Arnel Ricafranca is only 5ft4, and he doesnt look it either.

  • He's 5ft5?! That's hot! It makes him hotter, really. And the shirtlessness is a nice touch, Craig. Dayum! Thanks for all the workouts! My boring days at the gym are over.

  • You couldn't be more wrong. This guy knows his stuff. He's just picking one particular niche with his videos. He can hold his own with strength, building muscle, and training athletes info.

If he writes in Mens Health, don't you think that means something?

  • @GTSPerformance Mens health is a joke to anyone who actually has a degree in Exercise Science

  • @GTSPerformance Men's Health is a joke to anyone who actually has a degree in Exercise Science from an accredited university

  • @syracuze2 I have good friends with degrees from good colleges in Exercise Phys and they weren't happy at all with the out of date curriculum. There's definitely things in Mens Health that are a joke, but a degree certainly doesn't make you good at what you do. Time in service and staying in academia holds much more weight with me. This guy does just that. And he does have a degree too.

  • Nice vid.

I really need to find a cheap medicine ball like that one.

  • I made one using a basketball.

    - Get a tire plug kit and a bag of play sand.

    - Get a restaurant ketchup bottle with the narrow pointed tip.

    - Puncture a hole in the ball opposite of the air release hole

    - Cut the bottom of the ketchup dispenser off

    - Stick ketchup dispenser in hole while putting a air needle in the air hole to allow air out.

    - Pour sand slowly into ball through ketchup dispenser till full.

    - Get some Goop or other type of glue and cover hole that you made. Allow 24hrs to dry.
