I'm 27 I don't understand why we are so hung up on age in the US. With people living longer lives, why are we so quick to put people out to pasture? The fact is women get better with age, they peak in their late 30's early 40's and it gets better . Men's sexuality decline. They're the ones who will need the viagra. Not possible. I am a 35 yr old single woman. I was asked out be a 23 yr old guy recently. I told him my age. He still wanted to go, but I declined. If it even could work out, What happens when he wants things I can't do (kids)? What happens when I'm 70 and he's 50-something and what to play tennis when I'm old and could be in a wheelchair? What then? What would his parents/family/friends think? Time and Bio are not on a woman's side with a younger guy.

That's the guy from Lipstick Jungle, and I think he really truly is 27. The movie is a fantasy. That can't happen. Biologically, it's a set up for failure. A guy is 27, a woman is in her 40's...he wants kids, she could be in memopause and can't have them...and then the inevitable happens. Break-up. Cougars would NEVER work out. And what would each of their families think? Hey, I'm just being realistic..

I loved this movie. Heather Locklear was genuine , sweet, and believable. Contrary to the NY Times it was captivating and at times unpredictable. It was heartwarming how her son cared about her happiness and her feelings. I watched it twice and plan on watching it tonight. ( yes i know I need a life )....:)
