how come when I use my brush it's not blending at all? please help..

@TheUndertakerSaysRIP You need to allow the brush to accumulate the graphite (takes a few minutes). I always use the same brushes over and over with pencil, there is no need to clean them because we want the remnants of graphite to stay on the brush.

Omigod - you're amazing! When I used to do shading with a pencil drawing I'd always use my finger and the natural oils, but I really love the idea of using a paintbrush.

@billwenham Thank you :).....I use my fingers at times too, but I try to use the brush as much as possible because the oils from our hands go in to the paper and make it more difficult to have an even layer of shading.
