First of all, she is definitely a woman. She has long hair throughout the entire movie up until the very end, when she shaves it off to help Stephen Chow's character and their soccer team.

Second, most monks shave their heads to signify that they are indeed monks. Also, it shows they are leaving worldly concerns behind.

Lastly, this video was edited and uploaded by myself on April 1st, 2006. No one else made this before me. It is my creation.
