This is unwise, pessimistic, anti-internet nonsense, not an "art lesson." Technology will supersede paper just as paper superseded the stone. I strongly believe creativity exist within the individual, not outside. The internet is more relevant to education and sociey than it is to art. However there are some remarkable sites like the Google Art Project or the Creators Project that allow unprivileged individuals like myself to observe and learn about historic and modern art.
