If it was on its way to being a state powerhouse then it would constantly out recruit Ole Miss in the state of Mississippi and outside of Mississippi. It is an accomplishment to win the Cotton Bowl. When was the last time anyone else in our state did it? The main thing is though, if state was becoming the Mississippi powerhouse, like I've already said, they would be out recruiting Ole Miss. They aren't. I'm also a big LSU fan and Florida State fan. Don't talk to me about postseason games.

Two 9 and 4 seasons and yes one down season. State only considers a season a good season if they beat Ole Miss. Ole Miss would like to beat State yes, but they don't consider it a waste of a season if they don't.

It cracks me up how nutt always brings up "back to back cotton bowl victories" like it a division title or something. And yes although last season was the first season they did better than you guys but its on its way to become the state powerhouse. just pick another team to root for at least you'll get to watch a post season game. I guess below average is ok for some people.

Nutt is an above average motivator, below average coach, and below average recruiter... That is why despite Ole miss's easy schedule they will not go undefeated... Ole Miss is going to win some big games like Alabama and LSU.. They are also going to lose their share of games they are supposed to win...
I wonder how long it will be until the Ark fans show up and tell everyone how bad of a coach Nutt is? They can't stand that they paid him to go coach Ole Miss. He is investing that money in Oxford these days and getting pretty good returns! Glad to have him.
