yah but ur second card is limited because it runs crossfire at 8x/4x speed and single cards at 16x speed

but the performance increas on this particular board is not worth buying a whole second card with the limited speeds. but x8/x8 speed is good. thats why i hate it when gigabyte advertise that motherboards with x4 second slot supports crossfire when realy it offers no increase in performance.

Can you tell me where you connect 1394 to this mobo. I have an antec 900 case with firewire connections at the front. The users manual says don't connect to USB headers, but does not say where to connect them

Yes, both the core i5 750 and core i7 860/870 are quad cores, you cannot put core i7 1366 cpu's in here, such as the 920 or 965 extreme

No , C2Q's are lga775, this one is 1156,

but the new i5 en i7 for lga1156 are way better than C2Q's, so just grab one of those i5's they're awsome and pretty cheap

@anukanuk C2Q the fastest one is more expensive then a core i5 how I heard, and core i5 is much better, I saw some gaming tests, and in games core i5 performs like the core i7 920.

The bad thing about this board is your going to have problems with a big CPU cooler because the RAM is so close to the CPU heatsink area.

Everything else is pretty darn good.
