  • This line-up of Mac was, in my opinion, the greatest force pop had ever seen. Lindsey Buckingham; an under-rated guitarist and producer, Nicks and McVie, fabulous singers, and what about the over-looked back beat; John McVie and Mick Fleetwood? Two talented dudes, and they give a tight beat. In all of FM's incarnations have they been great, but if you want great pop, then someone should listen to FM (1975) and on.

  • When this tune went to #1 on The Billboard Pop Charts, The Portland Trailblazers won The NBA Championship, Unfortunately for both, neither has been back to #1 again. Hypnotic tune, by the way.

  • With them singing this song in this slower way, in their older age, I can understand all the words for the first time. I could never get the lyrics in the original "Rumours" version.

  • man i've been lookin 4 this version 4 soooo long !!! i love it !!!

  • How can anyone dislike this ! Wtf!! Great song, great performance..

  • Mick Fleetwood really is a great drummer.

  • I wonder how come Stevie's voice sounds deeper and more scratchy today than what she sounded like in the 70s was it the drugs in the 80s?

  • @stargazerlily86 possibly. Plus, women's voices tend to get deeper with age.

  • @stargazerlily86 Probably age. She's been on the straight and narrow for 20years now. Humans are actually more resilient to drug and alcohol use than most people give credit. Personally I prefer this version over the original. More polished and still relevant to todays music.

  • @whitireia Bloody well said, And a dam fine Artist and Performer. And still fantabulous looking!!

  • Dreams Raining.

    Thunder Playing.

    Fleetwood Fantasy.

    Heart Beart.

  • 2:43 and what you lost. Who'll say what you had? You know what you lost... Thunder only happens when it's rainin' Players only love you when they're playin'.. They say women, they will come and they will go... When the rain washes you clean, you'll know.. Thunder only happens when it's rainin' Players only love you when they're playin'.. before you They say women, they will come and they will go... When the rain washes you clean, you'll know.. You'll know, you will know, Oh oh oh you'll know...
  • Stevie - Immaculate-IMMENSE.

    Dreams Flying In Cosmic Clouds.

    Thunder.Rain. Levin of Light.

    Lovely Lyrics With Real Ring

    Meaning. Momentous. Miraculous.

  • this is awesome as the original version! :)

  • I think my pants just got shorter

  • Stevie...why do you have to be so enchanting? <3

  • She is kicking ass, I just wish she would hit those high notes. Still, what a great vocal performance. Also, GREAT arrangement.

  • @MistaRowland I agree I just love this quality of the song and the vid etc but I like the notes to be like the album

    it would of killed

  • Oh! How I miss songs like this.

  • I'm not sure if the band is enjoying this newfound interest in them from lots of us gleeks, but I'm happy to know them now. I think their album Roumours is futuristic and very sophisticated.

  • IMO, one of the best songs ever written.... won't get sick of it. Ironically I heard the Deep Dish version first, loved it as a youngster, but love this version as an adult...

  • Sublime

  • I'm glad Glee did a cover of this song.

  • one of the best ever

  • Does anyone by any chance know what brand/type of guitar the lead guitarist is playing? Thanks in advance!

  • @osunjara

The little electric acoustic he usually plays is a Rick Turner Model 1. And call him by his legendary name, Lindsey Buckingham!

  • @kbryant830

hi Kobe, thank you for the info on Mr. Buckingham's guitar. I meant no disrespect by not stating his name, I just didn't know it at that moment but I sure do now. I found it interesting that he plays the electric acoustic guitar without the pick since I do, too, and am interested in guitars that are better suited to finger picking.

    All the best to you,

    regards,

    Olga

  • @osunjara

Just messin with ya, but yes it's a sweet guitar! Out of my price range though..

  • @kbryant830

Yeah, probably out of most people's price range, but still a nice sight and sound for our mortal eyes and ears:)

  • I'm glad FM never broke up.

  • they will never love anyone like they loved each other...

  • this song i dedicate to the one that taught me to love but then left me (nirdla1125.) missing u always. xoxo

  • I believe Stevie wrote this in couple hours, now if thats not talent i dont know what is.

  • If you look at the dance concert, many, many times Stevie is looking over to Lindsey thruout many of the songs while she's at the mic...And he back at her...I think the dymanics that for them started while in high school, have never died...Where there is Lindsey, there is Stevie...Where there is Stevie, there too is Lindsey...Where they both are together, there's a hidden love...I don;t know if the way things went, if it could have ever been this good...

  • @glk001 I see that too,

  • Very good and respectful live treatment of this song. Nobody overpowered anyone else and the sound techs did a great job keeping the drums close to the sound originally recorded. Mick did great on the beats per minute and not adding fills not originally recorded.

  • stevie nicks & sade - two of the most beautiful voices. totally opposite but both equally great.

  • @6t4eldo very true

  • Sueños en el embrujo del océano de tu alma.

    Cattus Edgardo.

  • @ParanodiaBlues que profundo tus palabras

  • By far my all-time favorite song and video. Magical. Perfection.

  • This song is perfect!!!!

  • Now here I go again, I see, the crystal visions I keep my visions to myself It's only me Who wants to wrap around your dreams and... Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? Dreams of loneliness... Like a heartbeat drives you mad... In the stillness of remembering What you had And what you lost... What you had... Ooh, what you lost
  • Oh, thunder only happens when it's raining

Players only love you when they're playing

Say, women...they will come and they will go

When the rain washes you clean, you'll know

    You'll know

  • Now here you go again You say you want your freedom Well, who am I to keep you down? It's only right that you should Play the way you feel it But listen carefully to the sound Of your loneliness Like a heartbeat drives you mad In the stillness of remembering What you had And what you lost... And what you had... And what you lost
  • someone can get the complete lyrics of the song and paste?............

  • I think Christine has weathered the storm of time far better than Nicks. Nicks, while certainly still beautiful, has put on weight and, in my humble opinion, doesn't sing as well as she used to, while McVie/Perfect has improved over that same time. It's just a shame she retired.

  • @christo930 interestng opinion..I feel that life is like wine..it gets sweeter..they all got older..went through trials and tribulations in their process..and can only be happy they can still reap the fruits from their investment..it all boils down to Love for Life and sharing..their beautiful music

  • @MrJacksonvill I agree, I just think McVie got a little more sweeter than Nicks.

  • @christo930 Cool.I can accept your preference....I just love them both for what they bring to the table.Nice Day! :-)

  • Their harmonies have gotten much better.

  • excelente!! BOA MÚSICA NUNCA MORRE!!!

  • I agree the love of the music the songs and each other is still there

  • yeh its hard not to spot linsey staring at stevie in this and other songs.......

  • Why is it that when I listen to this songs I lose interesting in finding love and am blissfully content with my loneliness?!

  • @Mthooz

Because you know that you can never have Stevie Nicks....

  • @MrMatlock correct! Mr Chesterfield

  • @Mthooz Because all you need is "songs about love".

  • @Mthooz i feel the same happy with myself for now. scared of finding love and getting hurt and left again.

  • @Mthooz Because you're old, fat and ugly and it's the only way you can deal with that.

  • @Flurry911 ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha he he he

  • @Mthooz That's blues for ya. :-)

  • @Mthooz what a great sentence, I totally agree!

  • @Mthooz ... I concur! Its hard sometimes when scars are tearing open the harm, so thats when you close it off and find love for yourself .

  • amazing

  • Just look at the way Stevie and Lindsay are looking at each other

  • This concert contains more than a few good-natured and playful gestures and references by Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham regarding their former personal and romantic relationships with each other. At 3:40, Stevie looks at Lindsey and approaches him whilst singing, in a good natured and deviated way, "Women, they will come and they will go." Lindsey, smiles and gives her a bow of acknowledgement -- and apparent encouragement to continue.

  • @exmusicascientia Yes I just love the way she looks directly at him and sings those lyrics - I think it is to stir up some drama and their issues in the past trying to get to him, and it really does get to him - but he takes it in a good way - but I'm pretty sure, underneath it all he was a little pissed.

  • mellow

  • with all their great songs this is the only one that become a #1 hit on billboard charts...

It is woven into the fragment of my life too, as it came out when i was 12...nice version...love how they still sounded so great together after all these years...

  • Amongst the GREATEST singer of all times, Incredible talent, live or recorded. Difficult to compete with genuine singers such as Stevie Nicks or Fleetwood Mac

  • One of my fave songs driving late at night for some reason...The Dance cd is right there with all my other faves. Great band....always was and will be.

  • Many thanks CroNix99, been searching and searching for this version, love her little dig at Lindsay, "women they will come and they will go" Oh Stevie, teachin me new ways to be cruel, love her always

  • @delray06 Absolutely agree.... great section of the video and a rather "coy" bow back from the great man

  • @yatsa Just one of those moments that stays with you, its the friction in the oyster that makes the pearl.

  • I could listen to this over & over & over again...love it!

  • I fell in love with Stevie when I heard this song.

    Driving my 72 Super Beetle,

    fresh out of the Army.
