@klondikezappy helicopter engines are known as a turbo shaft engine. They don't use thrust to push the car, the turbines turn a shaft that drives the car via a great deal of gear reduction, which is the secret to the cars power.

@LittleKirra No need for a CV gear box. The way a turbo shaft engine works is taht you have the normal jet engine you imagine, but the thrust they generate is then blown across another set of turbine blades with actually drives the output shaft, which turns the wheels of the car. More or less all you need is a gear reduction box to increase the torque to something reasonable and let the output shaft reach proper speed. Other than that, no clutch or gears needed.

o.k first of all in heli. we use turbo shaft not turbo jet and i think that's the one he used

second the transmition in helicopter not manual and off course i's not automatic

it' diff. kind of transmition _no changing in input to output ratio

third it's true that gas turbine engines has better power to weight ratio

but if he still has his it's original engine that car will be so heavy

and if not i think it might has a stability problems

And two im sure it still has the stock motor in the front and still fwd see how he still has the shifter and stock guages meaning it can still be used as a daily commuter. Just saying.
