Tezuka beautifully tells about the ways of nature, that actually do not have nor need a ‘superior’ being over any particular living species (ie, the fact zebra as a species can stay strong thanks to the lions=neither species is 'superior'), self-changing and sustaining. This is a stark contrast to a common Brit’s atmosphere, of the 'elite' kind: “Put the senses into nature” so learned children then, unfortunately that air is still reverberating.

@karla99005 I refuse to look at TLK as simply a ripoff of JEL. True, there are some similarities in the designs of the characters (mostly Claw/Bubu and Scar) but the stories are so radically different in message and character. If you can't see their differences, you either need to watch more JEL or get over how jaded TLK has made you. They're both good in their own way.

Well, this series doesn't exist in Italian. xD In Italian exist the manga (1950), the two series of 1966, and Jungle Emperor Leo (in Italian: "Kimba, la leggenda del leone bianco", translated "Kimba, the legend of white lion").

This song always brings me to tears because Leo/Kimba's life was so abrupt. Well, at least to me it was. We saw him as a cub. We lived with him as a teencub throughout the years, and then we accepted him as an adult; only later we find out he passes away. Live on Leo! She claimed to own rare Kimba collectibles but then denied it later, and I noticed she wrote on someone's channel that her mom's friend who went to Japan got her the 2009 JEL movie with english subtitles, even though at the time it wasn't even on DVD in Japan, and once it does come out, it wont have english subtitles. She also claims to know fluent Japanese, which I kinda doubt.

Stuff like that, the typical stuff that little kids lie about, to sound cool or whatnot.
