I played european and american "scrims" or whatver you call them there. And in american there's not realy much weapons are banned as you say. Howewer in europe most of the people hates playing with shitloads of unlocks and pretty much sticks to a vanilla + medlocks. Even equalizer is banned. For example etf2l. Kritz,blutsauger,ubersaw,cross­bow. Wireplay same as etf2l but without a crossbow. That's pretty much the best option because the vanilla tf2 is the best. And medic without weps is booring

It lacks the serious k/d obsessed kids COD and Battlefield has. TF2 is more a game to enjoy and pass the time, K/D doesn't mean anything in TF2 nor does your killcount it's all about having fun and enjoying the humour the game offers.

If anyone wants to play comptetive, you should play highlander first. Noobs in 6v6, when I say noobs I mean people who are totally new to 6v6, tend to get either kicked or in the center of hating. You should learn the basics 6v6 before trying it.

I had once a player who was new to this as medic in 6v6. The whole team disliked him, because he couldnt do his job properly.
