wtf are you talking about? its better than the ipod in everyway. The ipod doesnt have hd radio, hd output, or an oled screen (which means better battery life). the zune will probably have better build quality too. Ive gone through 4 5th gen ipods (through warranty) in 2 years and I've had 1 zune for almost 2 years now. Ipods are just low build quality mp3 players that happen to be marketed well. Also since when cables cost $100+? Now Try think of some real reasons why the ipod is better.

The Zune always has been and always will be a failed product. The first one didn't work properly, was slow, big as hell with not a sufficient amount of memory, and broke a lot. Nearly every Zune after words hasn't gotten better, just less shitty. Granted the Zune HD will have an OLED screen which is pretty pimp, but its not gonna be a big seller because its still a Zune. Microsofts biggest problem is that they can't think of their own ideas, they never have been able too and never will.
I'm already saving up for a Zune HD. Not sure what color I want, though. Black, silver, and platinum have all been confirmed colors by Microsoft's released images.

You should try a couple of things. Fixing your operating system would be the first because I have yet to run into a single problem with windows vista ultimate or windows seven and I purchased it when it was brand new. I had nothing but PCs until i bought my first Mac. I was a 100% Windows guy that hated Macs until i saw the difference. I had a PC with 2.8GHz CPU, 3.25GB of RAM, 500GB HDD space.. and it was decent.. if i did constant upkeep. My Mac is better, faster, much more stable with NO upkeep at all. Try that on a PC.. i bet it lags or crashes within weeks. Not to mention, the only time i ever need to restart my Mac is for certain app installations. Not because it runs slow or anything.. ever.

wtf are you talking about? its better than the ipod in everyway. The ipod doesnt have hd radio, hd output, or an oled screen (which means better battery life). the zune will probably have better build quality too. Ive gone through 4 5th gen ipods (through warranty) in 2 years and I've had 1 zune for almost 2 years now. Ipods are just low build quality mp3 players that happen to be marketed well. Also since when cables cost $100+? Now Try think of some real reasons why the ipod is better.

Market statistics don't make a good product. In my experience of using many different types of media devices, I have found that Zune offers a quality product that doesn't break or crash easily, has an excellent user interface, and a very functional control scheme. The Zune software is easy to use and gets the job done without a lot of self-aggrandizement. The only problem I have encountered is that the software can conflict with Adobe Illustrator... but that's only a problem for designers.

There where several phones with touch screens before IPhone came out. Anyways, I like this, Zune HD looks bad ass and I am definantly getting it.
the ipod isn't for me, I dropped it once, and not even on the screen and it broke, my cousin has the touch and it won't turn off sometimes, draining his battery life.

The Zune always has been and always will be a failed product. The first one didn't work properly, was slow, big as hell with not a sufficient amount of memory, and broke a lot. Nearly every Zune after words hasn't gotten better, just less shitty. Granted the Zune HD will have an OLED screen which is pretty pimp, but its not gonna be a big seller because its still a Zune. Microsofts biggest problem is that they can't think of their own ideas, they never have been able too and never will.

You should try a couple of things. Fixing your operating system would be the first because I have yet to run into a single problem with windows vista ultimate or windows seven and I purchased it when it was brand new. Or, because you may be using a mac, you could try and be less of an assuming ignorant guy and actually try using a pc not running on like 512mb of ddr2.

I had nothing but PCs until i bought my first Mac. I was a 100% Windows guy that hated Macs until i saw the difference. I had a PC with 2.8GHz CPU, 3.25GB of RAM, 500GB HDD space.. and it was decent.. if i did constant upkeep. My Mac is better, faster, much more stable with NO upkeep at all. Try that on a PC.. i bet it lags or crashes within weeks. Not to mention, the only time i ever need to restart my Mac is for certain app installations. Not because it runs slow or anything.. ever.

A bigger screen, better browser (which I guess is left up to opinion since I haven't seen the zune HD's browser) but the iPod has youtube, while the zune HD doesn't support flash audio or video, the iPod has thousands of more apps, or should I say, the iPod has apps, but at any rate, it really is kind of stupid to make comparisons (like I'm doing, I admit it) about two players that aren't even out yet. As stated below, Zune HD has been confirmed by Microsoft as of today and the ZuneHD website is up with pics of the new Zune HD. In no means will this be an iPod killer, but I personally will take a Zune over and iPod any day and look forward to this coming out.

Lolz! It suddenly made some weard noises and it said that it will earse everything in it, so i pressed "ok". And then I connected it to the computer and it didn't work! So now it's dead!

the current zune is a piece of shit. I might get this based on storage, app store, games and if its hackable. The only problem so far is that the internet runs on internet explorer (sigh).
