While I think Rosvold & Marshall (check out his new band Futures End) were unique(esp Erik) they were also somewhat similar (despite the material of Fragile Mind not helping Marshall) in their approach. Im not saying this as a bad thing. Dynamic mid range vocals with a lot of emotion, feeling and Dio-ish balls. On the other hand I liked Salinas since his Power Of Omens(great band) days
@JensTwn With his high note approach and emotional delivery(genuine student of the Tate school), he gave ZH a different dimension, which when i first heard about his transfer to ZH, i didnt think it'll work as good as it did. I thought high note vox will be somewhat foreign to ZHs style. Probably thats what put some of their early fans, off. For me, after a couple of listens to Specs of Pictures, i was convinced they're still the best prog band of the '00s. Dark Deceiver simply verified this
