It doesn't hurt at all like others have said. Mine took about 2-3 days for the the blood to stop soaking my briefs. after that it was maybe a week if that for the blood to stop. Don't recall the exact price but it was something like $38 for the piercing and like $28 for the barbell plus a tip. I would not worry about stuff being sanitary as long as you go with a shop that has a good rep. plus they will clean it all in front of you. Do not be afraid to ask ?'s. My wife went and got her hood done and the whole time he was talking to me about the Apadravya. The guy who did mine was a Master piercer and had his done as well. Get you some tight fitting undies!
