Where did you hear that. Its how you treat the bike that makes it reliable and a better bike. That include a good carb setup which is not to lean or rich and just good maintenence and no mods except the sprokets. They are almost the same.

My Mito is 2004 6 geared model,totally standard and have ridden 2up at 95mph(Had been serviced the day before)It can reach this when it wants although tempermental!And i've had 100mph twice but she started to lose power???I would have the 165cc kit if I wasn't upgrading to a 600.I will miss this beauty and I agree with everyone PLEASE WEAR PROTECTION AT ALL TIMES!!!.ps Have a look at mine.

also depends on what mods - sprocket set up, zorst etc... personally go for a bigger sprocket set to get more speed, air filter, new carb/carb upjet, new zorst system and bike will fly, also if you have Shell fuel station use Vpower and Shell 2stroke oil, bike will run like a bitch then.

well it varies really - smaller at the front and bigger back for the models before the '06s id say because of the emissions n that, but also to counter the top end with acceleration - different person to person, im a top end and coz i have an 06 bike i have to get to bigger sprockets, front and back, but meh, nether the less, great bike them givas lol sticking to the aprilia's!

This is a 2 Stroke (like every Mito) and a 6 Gear Model. This 6 Gears do only 164 km/h this is about 90 mp/h not more. If it is a 7 Gear which i don't think because of the yellow speedo it does nearly 180 km/h which are 105-110 mp/h. So there is a difference between 6 and 7 gear. i own 7 gear and it's running 183 km/h
