I like these guys' recording of this, but I still think Kerry's group and the NY horns version on the Take 9 CD is the best I've heard. Mr Turner really is a good composer :P

i totally agree, i have that CD and i absolutely love it, it is my favorite Horn CD that i have found to date.  does anyone know similar CDs that i should look up? i love this music and i want as much as possible, myself being a horn player

Everybody in Berlin plays an Alexander 103 except third horn Klaus Wallendorf who plays an 1103. Honestly it's probably one of the reasons they blend so well together. Not to say that it's the only reason, but it certainly helps.

ummm not really that i know of but it does not matter what they play what matters is that you make your horn sound like that. An amateur plays what the professionals play and stay content Professionals make due with what they have and make it better
