I used a k&n and my oil turned solid black in 2 weeks. It took 4 oils changes @ 2k miles to clean up the inside of the engine, I now have 60 ,000 and my oil looks as good as day 1 .

large oil coolers

large trany coolers

differential cooler and pump.

if not they will fail.

Yep Massive overheating problems, Manufacturer says oh no,

Bull shit, Oil temp high means decrease in engile life and compression.

I would not run oil over 210 with max output during a track day, This will mean the rest of the time the oil stays completely stable.

1 more thing,,, I recomend nothing but royal purple and NEVER USE A K&N FILTER.....NEVER.

Use either oem filters or filter that filter out even more than oem,

I typically prefer silver cars, but I have to agree that for the 370Z, Black is the only way to go.

Problem with black is that dust and dirt show up so clearly. You're always washing the damned thing.

Porsche will always be Porsche.. a new Z costs around £30,000... you can buy a decent 911 for that money, they sound a lot nicer, interior quality is far superior not to mention refinement, ride quality and re sale value... I do like and respect Nissan a lot but come on, have you ever driven a Porsche???
