They barely had running water and homes even before the earthquake. I came close to traveling down there in college for some missionary work. But because of political unrest it never happened. I have a buddy over there right now who is in the USAF he tells me the situation is getting worse as they begin killing each other over things. 'things'... it IS a sad thing, but we can't blame ourselves.
I'm not blaming us. I'm saying that we, who have more than they, can share the wealth. An example people use in our culture is if the rich spread their wealth to the poor, we'd all be living well. Right? Why use more than we need? I gave my excess to someone who needs it. I just wish I had more.
