  • Fantastic! :D

  • @RiskyCricket n the 1st time she met the old man, she said "I know",and "i want to be free"she was told that the 5th weapon is the reason and goal,so as to let her free. The 5th weapon is her sacrifice.she was a guardian angle. Her goal was to sacrifice herself for Sweatpea.in the beginng of the story, the narratorsaid that guardian angles exist n may be a little girl*then Babydoll was shown in the first time*The fight scene wasnt imagination its whre the she met the old man and was told what to do

  • GREAT MOVIE a trip into surealisim, & it explains it self wonderfully, just got to look to see listen to hear :)

  • Sexy

  • The narrator is Sweatpea...

  • I wriggle with glee when she sings 'Somebody's gotta save my soul!"

  • It's the best action song in the movie

  • The one who's searchin', searchin' to destroy

  • bla bla bla bla

  • As much as I hate to say it; I like this better then the Stooges original version.

  • dear god, watch this movie stoned. Best experience EVER

  • @Zuberi1989

DUDE! That is exactly what I'm talking about! I was fucked off shrooms and had 10 grams of skunk... literally one of the greatest things i've ever done. glad someone else has had the same thing. peace, my friend <3

  • @Hacker73 Dude calm down. She doesn't give up, she sacrifices herself for the people she realises she was fighting for. Also, it's set in an old-style asylum and a lot of shit you wouldn't believe happened in those places which didn't get discovered 'til like decades later. They got away with a lot. Yeah, this is a bit exaggerated but it's Hollywood, and there's more drama like that. Also lol at how you copied and pasted this comment on like 5 other videos with the Sucker Punch soundtrack.

  • brilliant come back tune:)

  • Her mind was a vivid imagination of escapes that she created for herself. It's a gift, for sure. And it has a killer soundtrack!

  • Eponinelsblue .. very true & agree totally. great movie.

  • @tgnrogue And you felt you needed to come here in the public to expose your poor understanding of what a weapon and a fight is? The fact that you dont know anything about life, honor and duty does not make the rest of the world as idiotic as you, moron

  • @asaremperor Well please explain to me how acceptance of being labotomised is chosing to fight? Also how can you possibly even claim to profess to know absolutely anything about my undestanding of life, honor or duty when you know absolutely nothing about me?

  • @tgnrogue In the beginning of the movie it talks about how angels look out for people leading them to what they want. Babydoll didn't want to fight, she chose to. But in the end what she wanted most was to forget about killing her sister. Being lobotomized made her forget.

  • ROCKETTTTTTTTT

  • ERGO YOURE RETARDED LOL

  • two words; fucking good. and one punctuation; exclamation mark.

  • Whatever, retards.ITS ALL FANTASY,perception is reality, make your own interpretations.Yo Patriot, think outside the box,the driver and the kid knew she was running from her past n covered for her, unescapable my ASS LOL

  • i dont get the movie at ALL which part is real and which part is fake?? i dont know i would love to know but theres so many opinions so ill just say THAT MOVIE WAS FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @lilmissfortun

    Everything was real, pal'

    E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G.

  • @tartoflan Nazi zombie steampunk-cyborgs? Yup, all happened.

  • love song and movie!!! Thumbs up!!

  • LOL,yeah, you can see the movie in so many ways, but the truth is...ITS ALL IN SWEETPEAS HEAD,shes been on the bus dreamming, how else do you explain the kid sweetpea sees on the trenches, hes on the bus,i can see all your point of views but mine is right too, plus shes the narrator,or maybe she dreamt it all when she went to take a pee(sweetpea) lol.wait the kid on trenches could have been...nvm lol.TOP COMMENT PLEASE,you know im right.Im joking.

  • @PlayerSpartan55 >____> Babydoll existed, because Babydoll was Sweet Pea's Guardian Angel who she kept talking about. -__-

And how do you explain the scene's where Babydoll is in the mental asylum getting a lobotomy if it was completely in Sweet Pea's imagination?

Honestly, I partially believe that that part on the bus was Babydoll's vegetablized imagination. That would explain the kid from the trench, the bus driver and also the sign that they drove past that said "Paradise".

  • @RiskyCricket there's a town called Paradise in California, Arizona and Texas.

  • @jeesy354 ... okay, and I care why?

  • @RiskyCricket because that means that the girl wasn't hallucinating the scene on the bus

  • @jeesy354 Um, no it doesn't. At all.

  • @RiskyCricket what?

  • @Keikunas What is "what"? What are you saying "what?" to? Clarity is key here.

  • @RiskyCricket Babydoll vegablized?¿ She can walk at the end of film.

  • @linkito666 So you missed the part where she was lobotomized? Lobotomization does, indeed, give you the mental capacity of a vegetable. At the most you would have the mental capacity of an infant, which isn't much better.

"She can walk at the end of the film". Being dragged along by asylum assistants does not constitute as "walking". She didn't get up and walk around on her own; she had to be held up by the assistants.

And I made that comment 4 months ago. Your reply was rather unsought.

  • @PlayerSpartan55 your wrong, for several reasons but ill give you the unescapable one. if it was in her head why did the police want to talk to her, why did the bus driver have to cover for her and why, if she had been on the bus the whole time, does she tell the bus driver she doesnt have a ticket.

SHE DIDNT HAVE A TICKET ERGO SHE WASNT ON THE BUS ERGO IT WAS REAL.

  • @PlayerSpartan55 Yeah!! You Can see in the Sacrificing Part Babydoll Says *its never been my story.......* :)

  • its all in SWEETPEAS HEAD...

  • where does this movie take place?

  • @Mp7Mod inside Baby Doll's head!!!!

  • @Pawluk44 i meant like what state did the people go to to film this movie?

  • @Mp7Mod The majority of the movie was filmed in Vancouver, Canada and the rest in some other place in Canada, I think it was Toronto?

  • @DjGrayBoy1 ohh, ok.

  • I only saw the movie once, but heard the soundtracks a milion times...and now idk why but i feel like i saw the movie more than once :3

  • @div4licious me too!

  • well, wat the fuck is sweet pea gonna do? she lost her friends and her sister, and she just escaped from a mental asylum. she doesn't have anywhere to go and anything to do. it is happy in a sense, but its also very depressing

  • @phantomboss133 She has her parents . Remember that Rocket said she only ran away because she did aswell and she never had a problem with them and they didnt have problems with her aswell

  • @GinkgoPete Hmmm. No. It's just someone mentioned sexual abuse...

  • @GinkgoPete ahhhh, i forgot about that. touche, sir

  • @EponineIsBlue Ohhh, So when she goes into her dance mode thing - is when the doctors were actually sexually abusing her? :O

  • @MissYasminK Not sexually or is having a metal needle in your head sexual abuse?

  • @GinkgoPete No when she went into the fights was when she was being abused, The "High Roller" was what she referred to the Lobotomist as so when they kept sayin she only had 5, 4, 3 however many days left in the movie till the High Roller got there it was how many days she had before they lobotomised her, or as you said had a metal needle shoved in her brain

  • @TangSoo11 Wait so when the other girls died did that mean they got lobotomised aswell?

  • @GinkgoPete That I'm not sure about, but it's possible since Blue says that he's forged signatures for Lobotomies before, maybe that's what he did.

  • Good cover of Iggy Pop by Skunk

  • to search and to destroy justin bieber

  • where does this movie took place?

    what state?

  • @Mp7Mod In the 1950's that's really all that was said i think

  • @inuyashachobitsfma wait, i thought it took place in the 1960's

  • @Mp7Mod I might be wrong but im pretty sure it was in the 1950's

  • Best song evuhhhhhh

  • Rocket looks like Lauren Rocket. Does anyone know Lauren Rocket? Search her and you'll see the real Rocket in real life. Lauren Rocket :)

  • It was so sad..

  • i love the movie sucker punch

  • I had myself excited because I thought it was a 30 Seconds to Mars cover at first.

But then I was like: "...Awww. Damn..."

    Good song, though, anyway.

  • The best last gen CGI ever made, without it,there would be no movie.Thank God for cgi.

  • It could be all in sweetpeas head, shes the narrator, the kid on the bus,she sees him in trenches, the wise man was the driver, maybe she was running from something on bus all along dreamming...or the kids face could be spiritual or something. What puzzles me in the kid on the bus...

  • Yeah,i agree with you lovewalker. From your point of view,i mean.

  • Well wasn't it said in the movie that sweet pea didn't have problems at home... that she just left... Figures.. all the bad little girls would have to stay and sweet pea that did nothing wrong would leave. made since to me.

  • @LoveWalker88209 well not all of the girls were bad, baby doll didn't do anything wrong and rocket just ran away from home, sweet pea came along just to protect her sister and i don't think they mentioned much about the other two girls but they probably weren't so bad

  • @UCHIHAxPRIDE Sha Sha, very true. I'm not too sure with it being a comic book type movie what era it played in... but back then anybody who did anything out of the norm or weird or just a little too much to handle got sent to those places. Like something was wrong with them, when in reality nothing is wrong with them. People just can't handle something that is different from them.

  • @LoveWalker88209 Well i believe it takes place in the 50s, which would explain all the men taking advantage of the women but i don't think what any of the girls did would be considered that odd even for that time period. but yeah its kinda hard to get an exact era with all the different worlds and the "real world" being fake as well

  • @LoveWalker88209 i agree 100% :)

  • I just feel bad for sweet pea she has to live on with the memory but all the others were able to escape in a way it was meant to be t

  • sweetpeas the narrator...

  • Sad ending... Well, that all depends on who you think the main character is... Don't you remember what Baby Doll said? This never was my story...

  • toatally awsome, good story, good music

  • I forget what the stepfather did, could someone please help out?

  • @JrOeKnEeRe The stepfather killed her Mum for her money but in her will she didn't leave any money for him just BabyDoll and her sister. I think he killed BabyDoll's sister or BabyDoll accidently killed her. The Stepfather sends BabyDoll to a mental place and then got Blue to fake the signature of Dr. Gorski so the doctor could perform lobotomy on Babydoll.

    x- well i'm pretty sure

  • @xShootinggStar Babydoll didn't accidently kill her sister, that was a lie from her stepfather.

  • @EponineIsBlue Oohkay.. I wasn't quite sure about that part;P. Thanks.

  • Babydoll's mine...

  • as many people that hits the like button on this has looked at ur mom and said "Ive hit that.":

  • baby doll is so cool! ^_^

  • Yeah DJGrayboy, thats one way to see the movie, but very obvious for me.The ending is sad if you see it that way, babydoll would be a vegetable, thats sad.I think...notice the Lennox asylum post appears when Annie Lennox is singing, the faces sweetpea sees,u want a happy ending, then imagine its all a dream sweetpea had on the bus n make up the rest.THATS THE POINT,the director Zack Snyder hides fact to open your ilusion to the scenario you relate too,but with constant subliminal n not messages lol.

  • You talk like theres only one way to interpret the movie...the rational, but by rational thinking the whole movie could be inside sweetpeas head or not.Not even Zack Snyder knows,i bet,he probably has many interpretations himself .AWESOME movie.Sucker punch the crytics lol. This movie has it own genre.God bless CGI and the whole crew.Thank you.

  • Babydoll's mine lol

  • Download link, please. Daddy will luv u long time :]

  • A tribute to veteran video game players.

  • @PlayerSpartan55 like Scott Pilgrim comic series? or Gamer movie?

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!

  • @Rockingdude1990 I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!! LOL

  • You interpret it the way you want,obviously...But dont say 'what it was',say 'what i think it was'.I can imagine a million interpretations because theres never proof, the whole movie could be fantasy(it is),thats the point,i think.

But i still prefer my interpretation, sorry.I dont think she was raped, but she could have been.I love this movie.

  • She just made alot of mess in the sanatarium/brothel in the real world to get herself free,in her case,a lobotomy,it erases all of your memories and turns you into a vegetable but there are cases of recovery(a new start).Ignorance is bliss, but shes not dead ;)

This song is a tribute to veteran video game players :)

  • Yes,of course Babydoll is normal, its all in her head, she never got raped coz she was a virgin and blue used the girls to dance/pimp,but she was too valuable as a virgin.Wouldnt you be distracted if babydoll danced for you?She used her weapons to get free,is all.But feel free to interpret it anyway you like.Just tell your friend to think outside the box. This movie IS a tribute to women and their power.

  • @PlayerSpartan55 the whorehouse is imaginary, and i knew a rape victim when i was a teen who still considered herself a virgin. she is being abused by blue in the asylum.

  • i dont understand the ending .. she looked normal??????

  • @mikeybecka yeah the high roller made her brain damaged I think, I mean she wanted him to do it.

You lost all your family and your stepfathers an asshole, not to mention your in a whorehouse. Wouldn't you want the high roller to do that to you? Think about it

  • @HeartOfInsanity And she killed her sister. And then haven't killed the stepfather

  • @HeartOfInsanity it's called a lobotolectemy..... he basically killed a major part of her brain so that she couldn't think for herself that much....

  • @vanillaicify lobotomy, you mean :)

  • needs a more cowbell !!!!

  • You talking to me synth77?Im portuguese, didnt get it...

  • Oh the stooges can you do wrong?

  • Im the world's forgotten boy,the one who searches to destroy...awesome

  • i watched it 2 times in a row,best babydoll,i mean,movie ever ;)

  • Is it me or that german woman that was teaching the girls how to dance is the same woman who did the voice of Doctor Tenenbaum in Bioshock?

  • @deloreandmc88 i thought the exact same thing when i watched the film

  • @deloreandmc88 : Don't think so, at least not according to IMDB. Carla Gugino played Dr. Vera Gorski, who played the dance instructor and/or madam in the brothel fantasy. Someone named Anne Bobby voiced Tanenebaum on Bioshock.

I only checked what I think is the original game, from 2007. There are some sequels, and apparently a movie in the works, so C.G.could be doing the voice on one of them.

  • @deloreandmc88 she's actually russian - at least i think so ;)

  • One question about the actual song: 1st 50 seconds of the song - what is it? I know the rest is Iggy with Stooges, but I know that intro from somewhere as well, just can't remember.

  • The ending wasn't sad because like the wise man said the 5th thing would be the ultimate sacrifice which was her but this let Sweet pea be free as well as the other girls. Giving up her mind to escape the pain and suffering of the cruel world exposed Blue and the people aiding him to torture the girls to Dr. Gorski and the police. She also got revenge on her stepfather, at the end you can hear Blue telling them about what the stepfather did so it was a happy ending if you think about it

  • @DjGrayBoy1 it was sad if ur favourite character waz blue

  • why is there talk about beiber when this is Sucker Punch really?

  • @WoWaddictChristina That stupid fucking name is on every video and it drives me nuts.

  • @imjere I know right no one likes jb anyways -_- The only person I know is my bfs sister.. lol

  • ***SPOILER ALERT***

I like the ending. Baby Doll 'escapes' the asylum in her own way, although it ends up being through a framed event, and at least one of the girls escapes. It left me with the fact that even if things look bad, you just gotta keep on keeping on.

  • @ES992 shame on u for spoiling the movie , sir. However , most people look for a soundtrack after seeing the movie

  • @mihneadds I just felt like I had to get that out because my friend is convincing me how the whole movie is horrible due to the ending and is also degrading to women because of the brothel scene, which I feel is complete bullcrap. She also tries telling me that Baby Doll is getting raped every time she's in her imagination-land. :/

  • @NRODD095 yeah i guess your right but i still think they are asswipes lol not you of course sorry.......i love to swear even when its not needed....i'm souper sorry bout that

  • i love this movie. but why would a depressed girl think about fighting dragons and samurais?

  • FUCK YOU ASSWIPES!!!! this movie was the bomb.it wasn't just about hit chicks kicking ass(even though that wwas awsome) it just had EVERYTHING and you bitchs who want to act cool like you hated or want to act like you hated this movie...... everybody.......FUCKNG HATES YOU ANYWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!it had a wonderful massage about never giving up and finding your own angel in you....and how you can fight to be that angel and destory your deamons.those of you who didn't now this are redneck drunks!!!

  • @rockerchit Uh, I liked the movie and all.... but damn... did you forget to take your happy pills?

  • @rockerchit that is exatcly what im talking about - if they wanted dramatic movie with point that you have on your mind than they shoud make longer beginning and the characters would change throu the movie(what they did not...!) the action is mindblowing, but i would be glad if they take that dramatic shit out of it and added more and more action,, like i said - those two things dont belong together(or is it just next mashup movie?)

  • @rockerchit it didn't have everything

  • @daesu3236 It wasn't that bad. The movie is about finding yourself and finding your inner strength, not just hot chicks and action sequences. I loved it &' watched again a few more times.

  • movie is realy REALY shity!!! atempt for schizofrenic drama with action sequences and super hot chicks - i dont understand why would anybody wanna make such a thing(or why would anybody wanna see it...),, it just doesnt make any sence,, at the end its not a proper action movie or drama or fantasy... BUT the soundtrack is so fucking AWESOME,, soundtrack realy got me,, btw im 21 years old i like fantasy action but not that one:))

  • @daesu3236 this movie has nothing to do with schizophrenia! The worlds they enter each time is their imagination, it's how they dealt with what was happening to them that's how the mind protects itself.

  • this took place in Vermont right?

  • The beginning reminds me of.... We can dance if we want to..

  • me being a pansexual female of the age of 16 thought this to be the best action/fantasy flic of the year. ;3

I loved everything about this movie, the characters (like rocket, my favorite), the symbolism was sexy and meaningful, the general creativity, and the soundtrack...dear god what sweet tasty earcandy, not to mention the CG effects were simply stunning. I love this movie, defintely one of my favorites in general.

  • @doggehbark me being a human of any kind or age i thought this to be the best action/fantasy flic of the decade

  • @doggehbark Rocket was my fav to but she was the first one to die :'( whyyyyyy??? rocket was awesome :D

  • @Dogss10 I know, right? She was great~ :D

  • this is for GSNAKE187:The lobotomy spike is placed in the corner of the eye beside your nose. This is were the spike enters leaving almost no sign of an entry wound.

  • The only thing I dont really understand is in the end. The doctor strikes the tiny lobotomy hammer and he pulls it out and it has blood covering the tip but when you see Babydoll's blank stare, you dont see the hole.. So did he get her?

  • @GSNAKE187 labotmys dont leave a mark :)

  • @GSNAKE187 You've clearly missed the huge instructional poster in the background, showing the eyesocket lobotomy technique. The hole was under her eyelid, hence you couldn't see it.

  • To @thelastholdou: Am I mistaken or didn't she aim to shoot her stepfather, missed and the bullet ricocheted off a pipe inadvertently hitting her sister? Which is why she was grateful for the lobotomy, because it would erase her memory of her killing her sister when she was trying to protect her from getting sexually abused...Just wondering if I completely missed something? Wasn't her whole motivation for freeing sweatpea her "penance" for what happened to lil' sis?

  • @jgormanke Sister was already dead before the fact.

  • To @thelastholdou: I'm a mistaken or didn't she aim to shoot her stepfather, missed and the bullet ricocheted off a pipe inadvertently hitting her sister? Which is why she was grateful for the lobotomy, because it would erase her memory of her killing her sister when she was trying to protect her from getting sexually abused...Just wondering if I completely missed something? Wasn't her whole motivation for freeing sweatpea her "penance" for what happened to lil' sis?

  • I actually see some very deep symbolism in the "misogyny" of the movie. Babydoll feels trapped and degraded in the asylum, so that feeling of degradation is symbolized by her being a new girl in a bordello. By being dressed sexy in the fight scenes, she is then turning that degradation into power, taking control over her powers of sexual attraction and using it in conjunction with her will in order to win her freedom.

This is a very rough analysis, 500 characters limits me.

  • @thelastholdout I think it's more based on the idea of the Illuminati mind control slaves. She disassociates from her reality in the asylum the whole movie until finally being lobotomized, which is the ultimate form of mind control....I guess.

  • @Chitterstein I wouldn't know about the Illuminati, because I'm not into conspiracy theory bullshit. Of course the bordello and fight scenes are disassociating from the cruel reality of the asylum. A lobotomy isn't really mind control, it's just mind destruction. And in the end she welcomes the lobotomy because she knows that whatever is on the other side, it's not as horrible as being locked up after killing her sister.

  • @thelastholdout it's not as horrible as being a crawdad either

  • @thelastholdou she didnt kill her sister, the step-father killed her and she got there to late
