The Gen 1 PS3 had an inherent hard drive malfunction and all PS3's past Gen 1 do not do backwards compatible, even then it was limited. Plus the 360 has such shotty hardware. I originally was going to sell my old 360 Pro and upgrade to an Elite.

So I bought an Elite, and it had a faulty power button. Returned it and got another one. RROD right out of the box!

That was the final nail in the 360 coffin. I returned it and finally got a PS3 instead.

Plus I can't even tell you how many of those damn rechargeable battery packs I've gone through because they always eventually just stop holding a charge.
