  • Does anyone know which arrangment this is??

  • @XanderGraham3262 David Wright, the harder one of his two Buddy arrangements.

  • whats nice about these guys is they come from a time where cell phones didnt have video cameras, so all the videos are really nice :)

  • I love this song, and these guys do an amazing job on it. Their bass captures the emotions behind this song so well.

  • Hehehe check out those haircuts!!!

    Excellent!

  • the bass voice is amazing :)

  • awesome but what are they wearing?

  • lol it was the 90's remember?

  • Perfect, almost made me cry

  • sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

  • Is this a custom arrangement? How would one go about finding this song on sheet music?

  • Google David Wright arrangements.

  • what's the chord on "pal" there, Jim on E above middle C, Rich on a High G, Kipp on the High B flat, and Rob on the very High C

  • C7. Such a great chord, especially when sung by GHG.

  • thanks

  • Did you figure out the notes by ear? If so that's pretty good!

  • Yes I did, i've had this for a while. The guys in my quartet always kid me about it.

  • Yes, i've had this ability for a long time, my old choral directors would kid me about it. My chorus and quartet always kid me about it, call me a ptichpipe.

  • That's a good skill to have! I have to concentrate to be right otherwise I'm like a half-step off.

  • Everyone's ear is different, and process sounds at different speeds

  • I'm sorry to disapoint you Hemicudap, but the chord is an E minor dim 7. ie. E, G, B and C#. I got perf pitch...

Not tryin to be funny by the way.

  • Very good man, you got me. I completely missed it. Good ear.

  • However, it still sounds like a C to me. It also sounds like the C on my pitch pipe, and my piano-but my theory is basically non-existent (I'm no authority). That's just what I heard when I first asked the question-I guess my perfectness isn't so perfect...

  • Are you sure it's not a half diminished C# in first inversion?

  • hmm sorry it's not E minor dim7 ! Tome it sounds like a Ab7 9 with bass on the Fifth which goes (from bottom to top) :

    Eb (5th) / Gb (min7th) / Bb (9th) / C (3rd)

    =)

  • @jibcraip Are you talking about "pal"? If so, it's a Cm7(b5)...

  • @brockjarrett789 yeah...I hear it as a Ab9/Eb but same notes as Cm7b5/Eb or even a Ebm6 =)

  • @jibcraip Oh you're right. I'm just so used to spelling it Cm7(b5) from school lol.

  • @brockjarrett789

...which is a fully diminished chord....lol.

  • @cardangel16

It doesn't have the diminished seventh so it's a half-diminished chord.

  • their audience is hilarious. one lady's like checking her drink, one guys like looking off into space. god...

2:39-2:45 my jaw was on the floor.

  • They are good...but what the hell are they wearing?!?

  • Looks like bin bags.

  • beautiful voices! great!!

  • Ooohh... goosebumps...

  • i think pound for pound gas house gang is the best in the buisness

    jim henry...wow

  • Litrally pound for pound? So if they lost weight they'd be even better, comparitively?

  • Great job from these guys as usual. One of the best barbershop quartets the business has ever seen and will ever see.......

  • Gas house gang is so good, please post everything you can find of them, they are truly amazing.

  • sounds like they are recording their whole album in one take.....

  • Jim Henry...bass of basses
