  • nice video, but she mentions edema as being a sign of pre-eclampsia. it is true that you often do see this in women with preeclampsia, but you also see it in lots of pregnant women who DON'T have pre-eclampsia. Therefore it is no longer a diagnostic criteria for pre-eclampsia.

  • @BellaDonnaDoula Just because it's not used as a factor for diagnosing preeclampsia doesn't mean that it isn't a symptom. Mild swelling is common during normal pregnancies, it's true. However, severe edema--especially when it occurs in the hands and face, or becomes 'pitting' edema--is still a sign of preeclampsia.

Similarly, a sore throat may be a sign that you have strep throat, though further tests must obviously be performed before this diagnosis is made.

  • I am preparing for an exam, This is very informative! Thank you!

  • I am pleased to report that since using Levodyn, my blood pressure has lowered to the good range. This is the only thing that I have done differently recently so the credit is due to this natural product. My doctor has noticed the improvement after I told him about taking this supplement, but he didn't seem to want to discuss this.

  • am preparing fr my exam

    this was very usefull

  • I really like these videos where you show a doctor's visit, but the interaction seems to be very one-way. It would be great to see more active patients in these videos. Asking questions and getting information they need from the doctor.
