you shouldnt be useing none of them rigs, there banned from most places for messing up the fish`s mouths, its called the clown rig really

Do not copy this rig. The shot above the feeder/spod is unsafe. If the mainline snaps the fish will be towind the hooklenght and feeder round and could get snagged. Replace the shot with a float stop which will pull away under pressure.

@skemred77 I wonder if his hooklength is a lower breaking strain than the mainline like most fishermen do.

you have to set the rod in a holder a tenchen the line and bend the tip a bit.. if the tip pulls back or shoots to the water .. thats a bite
