Sometimes...I sort of wish i could apologize. But it's more complicated than that. First of all, I never said anything to him. My friend did. I simply apologized for what she said using my name. In a scene for a story I'm writing, I've decided a girl tells a boy how she really feels about him when he thinks they're just friends. @lorenchen1 in the song, the person just told someone that they loved them, then said "I'm sorry" because they didn't want to ruin the relationship (or friendship if it was not a relationship yet) by making it awkward. that's what happened with my boyfriend and I, so this is what I consider "our song" because it was the first song I thought of when I told him I loved him and took it back because I didn't want to mess up our friendship (we weren't together yet). Sometimes...I sort of wish i could apologize. But it's more complicated than that. First of all, I never said anything to him. My friend did. I simply apologized for what she said using my name. Second of all...I never really "said what I meant" (she didn't either) it wasn't really emotional. And besides that neither of us said anything at all. She wrote him a note asking him out in my name and I wrote back disregarding that. And he doesn't like me. I wish I could, but it's just too complicated.
