@JJtheSkat3r depends whcih context your talking about, in muay thai alone, there are very specific wieght limits, leightweight and under being the most popular, however in MMA in the U.K for example those who are bigger as you said "bulk", often have more power in their strikes, but as you said, with bulk you loose speed, and i do train at muay, thai, and its all about building speed, nad toughening up your body, trust me doing half an hour of trading kicks to eachothers ribs take sits tole. :)

I hate Canada's regulation on Thai Boxing...my instructor goes to Thailand to fight and when he comes back it's a whole new level of training and sparring.

Yes, Ramon 'the diamond' Dekkers put holland on the map in Thailand at late 80s begin 90s.. fought 7 years there and was the first foreigner that got the 'Fighter of the Year' award in Thailand.

Yod Saen Klai is now the Best to come out of Thailand. Buakaw is lacking in the punches section and rambaa is now in mma which just makes his fights look abit funny when it comes to submissions. Look up Yod Saen Klai, he comes from the fairtex camp

sad tho on ufc you only see guy hitting the another guy when he on the floor or watch them cuddle each other on the floor
