@MrSabarmati1981 because by doing it you learn what's possible from the impossible. if you think you can, then you most probable can. it is inspirational because you not only exceed the expectations of others but more importantly, yours. you say its "abusing" while we say its "creating". "creating what, you say?" it creates character - a character that will not quit, no matter the circumstance. who would not be inspired by someone like that?
@MrSabarmati1981 .............on the other hand I'm sure you found many things in your life as pointless or you just didn't understand them :) But don't worry there is nothing wrong with it, we're all different, some do triathlons...............and some are just simple :)
@tatohej There´s nothing wrong with being simple, mediocre and average. You´re right.
Apparently that man (1:00-1:45) doesn´t understand this. (My previous comment was not about triathlon in general, only about the action of that guy.)
He pushes his body so far beyond his limits, that he lies on the street and is nearly about to faint; and even then he wants to continue (in this case, quitting is the only option).
@MrSabarmati1981 The man you've mentioned didn't necessarily pushed his body to the limits, he might also just mismanaged his nutrition.............that it takes, you might be ready as ever and then you hit the wall, it happens to professionals as well. The man's power of will, is what made me to do the triathlon....btw(if you don't see the inspiration then I can't help you mate)
I don´t see the point, why abusing your own body is "inspirational".

That´s not inspirational, it´s rather ridiculous.
