  • 2:55 LoL ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • i think all pilots should have their own r2d2 to help with flying

  • eurofighter and f22 and f-35 are even but f117 nighthawk is my favourite ^.^

  • F-22, F-35 are thj emost ugliest aircraft on the earth, they are like little space ships and not a fighter jet.... And the most beutiful real fighter jet not space ship is F-14 tomcat...

  • mind is the new machine.

  • thx for the upload

  • we shouldn't overlook the parallel development of cyber-warfare. a pilot can not be hacked or decrypted.

  • lol at 3:00

  • Love the ending :)

  • sounds much like Macross Plus. hmmm

  • machines have no sense of morality. some crazy renegade could command them to target whoever they want and the ucav would just fire away. does anybody remember that security robot from robocop that told the guy to put down the gun and then shot him anyway?

  • Fighter pilots don't use their 'morality'. They're given orders, and do what they're told. No questions asked.

The commander would just tell these machines to do something, and they'd do it in the same way pilots 'just do it' when they're told to.

  • of course, thats how a soldier has to operate. but if its an automated system then people could misuse and take advantage of this and there'd be no failsafe against that beyond devices like passwords and other kinds of security clearance.

  • i agree with you but we arnt getting lazy we are trying to be more safe so those people ont have to call the mums or DaDs, wifes an tell em ur husbanD is DeaD because we DiDnt want to be lazy

  • that, and the human body has limits. Remove the human from the machine, and remove having to accommodate for the human body. The jets might be able to go faster, make sharper turns, etc. without a human in the cockpit.

  • wahahahaha... i like the last part is about un-man fighter aircraft... "aaaaahhhhhh...."

  • @Maxial72

Even if new jet fighter planes didn't have a cock pit, they wouldn't be un-manned. Someone would still be controlling it on the ground. We don't have artifical intelligence that allows jet fighters to think for themselves. Without a human directing the plane, the plane would be useless. So a human is unreplaceble by a computer :)

  • if you take the human element out of a fighter their will be computer failures and their will be friendly fire from those failures along with other accidents that will prove to be a major, deadly, mistake...... really is the world getting that lazy, its sad....

  • Well said.Human is always human.

  • humans are trying to build everything to kill each other ...

  • u are a human right ??? and half this stuff is build to protect from things that might happened war reallty most of the time is paranoya unless prven true ex WW2

  • these stuff can also get into the hands of people that might start the wwIII :(. u never know what will happen

  • Some vissitors from space someday will think to occupate our planet.... so what will you do without modern technologies??? :-) Our jets cant even fly out of atmosphere.... :-) WHATS ABOUT KILLING is just some stupid dumbasses which are trying to feel important.... BUSH, PUTIN.

  • we are building these stuff to kill each other not visitors from other space :)

  • Merci pour ce video

  • Why do they never suggest a russian fighter jet as an enemy to these european and american aircraft that would be more logical

it does not matter which one (f22 or EF) would win in a dogfight because that situation will never occur

not that I'm such a big fan of russian aircrafts (on the contrary)

  • if it does occur i doubt there will be anyone left around who would know either of these planes

  • Nederlander you seem goed geïnformeerd how DO Russian fighter planes of today stack up to Western counterparts i here so mcu bragging but i cant really get any feel for it but propoganda in the objective sense

    how do they compare?

  • GREAT video series... Thanks for posting!!!

  • hahahaha he said the typhoon is a old generation

  • LOL Pilot GET OUT OF THE COCKPIT!! The end of the video was hilarious but I don't like the fact that pilots would be none existent and UCAVs will take their place! :(

  • Eventually men and women will be put back in the cockpit of one form or another! It's only a matter of time and technology! Star Wars had pilots! They even replaced the droids with clones! What does that tell you?

  • But star wars isnt in the future in the beginning it says "A long time ago"

  • un maned vehicles are for puzzys

  • haha i like the ending the plane throwing out the pilot

  • I'm sorry, I meant SU-37. That plane is bad ass!

  • That's one helluva aircraft. It's something to admire and also fear.

  • So much for advancement. He said that if that computer goes out he loses control of the aircraft. So now the focus is on or should be on advanced electronic countermeasures targeting the aircrafts computer systems. By the way what of the SU-27? That plane is bad ass!

  • typhoon is no match with raptor period!!! raptor is a mutli role also, it has a capable of killing tanks or any bustards in d ground.. typhoon can be killed by a raptor without seeing it d radar...

  • @jaypher1 The raptor is not multirole... They scrapped that idea when they went with internal payload. It is strictly an air superiority fighter capable of carrying 6 missiles.

  • These were very informational videos. Unfortunatly, the American F-22 is a better aircraft than even the Eurofighter Typhoon. It has all the latest and greatest technology that the Typhoon has, but it is faster, more powerful, and it has the added benefit of stealth capabilities.

  • Thats not what an AMERICAN says in another video on this site..on a documentary. he states the Eurofighter as the best..having the most advnaced interface ever seen on a jet today..and witht eh Typhoon pilot g suit allowing greater G sustainance than any current jet fighter including the F-22. Hey im not arguing just pointing it out.

  • I don't care who says it, and I don't care what they say. I think that being able to get to a target without them knowing you're there is better than having a light, technologically advanced aircraft that could be shot down easily. Even though the EF is more manuverable than the F-22,theF-22 has thrust vectoring, which is designed to keep your nose pointed at an aircraft more manuverable than yourself in a dogfight. Besides, the F-22 has a larger weapons payload then the Eurofighter Typhoon has.

  • guess again... EF has at least as big weapons payload as the f22.

and you can't shoot EF down easily. it has the best anti-missile defence systems available and it can see other planes much sooner than they see it. the only exeption is the f22, but it will give itself away as soon as it fires its missile. and when that happens, the raptor doesn't have a chance. it can only hope its missile will hit or he has a friend close by

  • The Eurofighter Typhoon does not have Stealth capabilities like the F-22 does, so when an aircraft or SAM locks on (which is nearly impossible to do with an advanced stealth aircraft) it is more probable to be shot down because it won't be able to dodge everything that is thrown at it. Also, if any aircraft (not just the F-22) were to fire a missile it would give away its position, but with the F-22's Supercruise, you can get away from a hot zone at Mach 1.5 without afterburners.

  • the EF will never go against the raptor. and if it did, id feel very sorry for those poor british pilot's.

  • i guess you haven't heard of this yet:

RAF and USAF put EF and f22 in a simulated conflict against each other... close-in f22 was beaten hands down, in BVR combat typhoon still won, but this time barely. EF was saved by it's state-of-the-art detection systems which saw the raptor before it got into range. There were other test too, but in air-to-air typhoon was superior...not much, but enough

  • Where did you hear that?

  • Great. But I only have one question. How would it fair against Russia's Su-47 Berkut forward swept winged fighter?

  • su-47 was just a failed experiment

  • It seems you've got the info in reverse. The avionics of the F-22 is a generation ahead of EF's. The F-22's radar is so powerful to the extent the USAF is considering using it as a weapon. In a dogfight, the EF stands no chance against the F-22. Only the SU-33MKI or SU-37 can maneuver as the F-22. The EF is in the same class as F-18E/F, except it is designed for speed (its delta wing). In fact, it would be Tranche III before the EF gets the same level of radar system as the F-18E/F.

  • umm...can you give me references?

  • Sweet, My uncle worked on them UCAVs!

  • UCAV sucks. i think that taking pilots out, and replacing them with computers is the stupidest thing ever. pilots fly cause they love it. i think the Eurofighter is really good, but not as good as the F22 raptor. stealth is the most importent thing. the only planes that can challenge the raptor, is the eurofighter and the SU 37 flanker. thanks for posting these videos.

  • GOD DAMNED MACHINES!

  • yeah right

  • They should have mentioned the MiG 29-OVT

  • hah i like the last part.

  • great videos thanks!
