  • @huberw2013 No i would not, thats not the same windows embedded! The small notebooks run Windows CE, which is another embedded operating system... that is basicly nothing like windows! You wouldent be able to run any windows programs on it, or install another os! Also they only have like 300mhz processor :D

I would buy a notebook with windows xp, or if you have to then windows 7... but try not to get windows 7 cos it sucks :D

  • @Robobbly home basic home premium ultimate sucks other are fine

  • @zapper067 Nah. I use windows xp 64bit edition. It works so fast, and is much easier to use for a software developer like me.

  • @Robobbly I like that version, but many apps cannot works well on xp pro 64bits.Or are you talking about itanium?

  • @zapper067 My version if im being honest, is actualy Windows XP Embedded 64bit... which is a custom version, which does run all the 32bit apps fine ;) And whats itanium?

  • @Robobbly Itanium is IA-64(this is fastest usually used in servers),normal x64 isx86-64 or also amd-64,and 32 bit is IA-32. XP embedded 64 bit? That does not exist!Or you nlited the xp pro 64 bits?

  • @Robobbly or is it xp pro for embedded systems?

  • @zapper067 yeah its something like that ;)
