Just a beautifull stressed out stallion that hasn't been taught how to behave around another horse and see's the other horse as something to breed...since he is tied and probs knows better than to rear he has resulted to nerviusly pick his feet up. When a horse is confused, stressed or scared thier reaction is to move thier feet, or run, he CAN'T do that, so he is doing this. He is not Piaffing to his hearts content....that is just iggnorance on your part.

That is so beautiful. That is how a horse should look and move, that piaffe - he has time to be alert - his eyes looking - not like the cruel modern dressage where horses close their eyes in pain, resigned to ruining their bodies.

this is called piaffe! and those old world riding masters sometimes use a wall to train them to do this so they dont evade the command. this horse is just in good shape and has plenty of energy and decided he would be cute and piaffe to his little hearts content lol.

I think he's more like 'Oh, oh, LADIES! Where are my ladies!?' then he's abused. I don't see any negative things on him that could point out to abuse. Horses tend to do this in nature too, though you barely may notice it.

Ummm, I dont see any evidence of hitting, or abuse..the horse is alert, his eyes are relaxed, no white, hes licking his lips and is fully engaged. His coat is super shiny, he has plenty of fat on him. If you think THIS is abuse, then how do you explain dressage? This is just an extented dressage movement. These people treat their horses like royalty and spoil them.

Yeah this horse def does not look abused. He looks very healthy and the amount of training that went into him shows you that his owners obviously care for him. It may not be to some peoples liking but these horses are a livelihood to alot of people, and this is how it's been for generations. I wouldn't mind seeing a dancing horse one day, I'm sure it's better than watching a rodeo.

Actually she is more loyal than a dog.

I've also owned european/american raised horses and that gelding was wreaked because his previous owners used a snaffle bit to keep him under control. Turned what was an excellent mouth for dressage into something comparable to a piece of dead wood as you would have to literally 'saw' him to get him to break from gallop to canter and slow down his mouth was so insensitive.
