The reason no scientist or no one understands the acceleration of the expansion is because all of our theories are based on incorrect assumptions: (1) The amount of matter in the Universe is finite, (2) Universe began with Big Bang. If Universe is infinite, then not only expansion, but acceleration of expansion is predicted by gravity itself. Mutual graviational slowing of an expansion only occurs if the system is finite. Think, please.

Please do. For a start, the big bang theory states that the speed of universe spread was greatest in initial moment/s. After that, the expectations were that:
a. if there is enough matter it would slow down, stop and eventually contract
b. if there wasn't enough matter, the speed of spread would remain constant
Now we see that it is catching up speed. I would like someone to explain this anti-basic-laws-of-physics behavior. Thank you.

The New Scientist featured an article about studies that prove that the "big bang" theory is flawed in its portrayal of randomly dispersed matter coming out of a conventional-like explosion.
"axis of evil a cause for cosmic concern" was the name of the article. "does the universe have a handedness?" is the name of one of the studies.

In another video just posted from Spotlight on RT, the scientist quotes another (Gamov?) as hypothesizing that all the chemicals in the universe were created within the "first 5 minutes of the initial explosion of the big bang." Right away it makes one wonder if perhaps the element of time was created after the chemicals. )
