  • The fires started mid July (note I said fires) not fire. They continued to burn until November when the first snowfall put out the last of the flames.

  • what is the first song

  • the first song is kinda scary and sad if you think about it

  • what's the song?

  • This was a tragedy. I believe it altered the environment greatly and not only affected Yellowstone but our planet as a whole.

  • @weboffersmall actually, this has had many longterm good effects that are felt today. Fires occur naturally and are a vital part of any ecosystem.

  • I fought the fire back in 1988.

    I was 19.

    Location: FLAG RANCH

My crew was mostly fighting section C.

Crew B were from Alaska about 40 women.

This was my first major fire fight. It was the hardest but most exciting.

Was circled twice by the fire and each time a helicopter dropped retardent on us.

  • i read about the fire. its called Summer of Fire

  • @asiankid213

Umm it was winter time and in the end snow helped put the fire out.

    was not summer at all.

  • u have no fukin idea!I was there one of the volunteers!

  • These images are quite sobering - thank you for sharing them. Good job with combining the music and the images, too.
