  • Boooo

  • Cool video man! I like your style! I enjoy watching the twins, they are fun and has great psysics and give some good pointers. But its good to be reminded not to swollow everything they say.

  • You do realize that they try to sound a certain way for laughs... and when being serious they are pretty articulate. they don't sound like harvard grads, but they deserve much more cred/respect than you are giving them. a review doesn't have to be disrespectful reguardless of your opinion.

  • Light bulbs? WTF? You compared the twins to light bulbs? LMFAO your lost bro.

  • they come out and say their job is to give advice and entertain, they aren't perfect and I don't know why everyone wants to REVIEW them. They don't put guns to our heads and say do what we say, we enjoy working out with their techniques. This review is more like a disrespectful comparison between the twins and bodybuilders (which they don't claim to be). But you're entitled to your own opinion.

  • What do u think about their claim that they're natural?

  • @butagaris I'm skeptical after I saw what they looked like before lifting.

  • Oh and another thing, did you ever listen to their disclaimer at the end of their videos? You know the one about it being Just advice? 99% of what you say is advice aswell, and since your fat I wont be taking it thanks.

  • @Olliebucknollie I am fat and strong -- right now. This time last year I was almost 60lbs lighter. Your logic is flawed, but that's ok. If somehow someone puts on weight, do they lose all their knowledge in fitness? lol. Classic. Thanks for your comment! Love your training photos and videos -- oh wait -- like most TMW fans -- you don't have any. lol

  • wow ur fat and out of breathe trololol.

  • @TheRage191 I was getting over a cold. Thank you for your kind words. Rly.

  • Man i think you are full of shit, and the thing what proves this is that when I started this video you put a little box at 0:03 about facebook likes, that is childish man... just childish... even if you have 8000 likes what? What did Hodgetwins to you that you call them " Hodgetwins dumbed down fitness" ??? Man look first in the mirror, maybe your good at anatomy/nutrition call it how you want it but I bet that at practice the hodgetwins brothers would beat your ass.

  • @1BlackCotton Agree with you 110%. At practice the Twins do beat me, as they're cut and in shape. But you are keen to observe that I best them in the scientific realm (not sure how much anatomy is actually discussed). And I only best them in the scientific -- not b/c I'm LEARNED -- so much as --- because I cite real persons of authority, with real credentials (e.g. RxMuscle's Dave Palumbo, VPX's John Romano, Dr. Layne Norton, et. al.). Great comment. Thank you!

  • Look Christian. You have no reason to speak badly of keith and kenny, the twins. They give their opinions, not facts and they even say, "You can do what the FUCK you want to doooo!" So come on man dont critique on their channel. They also acknowledge in their videos that they are not experts. If i were someone out of shape and loking to get big, i would follow ther advise before your's. Im just saying.

  • @nipples7703 I appreciate your comment, but we all have our own opinions -- you asking me to stay quiet is just not going to happen. I say in the video that I'm subscribed to them and that I do find them Funny and Entertaining, but I also have critiques. You strike me as somewhat of a groupie, and I'm no one's blind follower. Thanks again.

  • on the physique side this channel is lacking.. thats all.

  • @dsamoa The channel is called STRENGTHaddicts (not physiqueaddicts). Thanks for your somewhat clever comment.

  • @StrengthAddicts they WHY the fuck are you even bothering looking at the hodge twins.. they're all about building muscle. if thats not what you're about then stay the fuck away?

  • @dsamoa It's called a channel review. Thanks for your comment.

  • Dude, why do this? Are you short of views? Are you short of subscribers.? If you have such good information , then why are you out of breath by just speaking? Why not just make your own videos with your own advice, and I'd it's any good you'll get views that way. But hey man it's just advice. You can go out there and do whatever theFUCK YOU WANA DO.

  • @mattwinstanley1980

    (1) Why do this? Umm... b/c I have an opinion.

    (2) Am I short of viewers? I could use more, but I have 600+subscribers, 500,000+ views, a website, two blogs, a facebook, and a twitter all for StrengthAddicts, which has been active for 3yrs. I think on this end I'm doing ok.

    (3) I do make my own videos with my own advice (in English & Spanish)

    (4) And I see you end your note with a HodgeTwin's quote.. and you're the one telling me to be my own person?

    Epic fail bro

  • @mattwinstanley1980 well stick your advice up your ass fanboy!

  • do you even workout at all???

  • @candycutlass72 Oh yeah! 5x a week...but I love to eat, so I'm not cut or shapely. I'm pretty strong though and plan to cut down. :)

  • I mean alot of the info from the hodgetwins stems from preconceived ideas or beliefs, and thats based off their supplement advice, etc. Are they fun to watch? well yeah. but to take what they say literally would be wrong especially for new bodybuilders. Anyone who doesnt try supplements shouldnt comment on supplements simply based off the ingredients(which is what they do)

  • @TNT905 Great comments; howvever, I'm not sold on the fact that most novices just see them as 'fun to watch.' Youtube is great for entertainment, but i think a lot of youngsters come on here looking for expert guidance, and they assume people that speak with any degree of confidence, are in the know. This naivety is on the viewer's end, so I wanted to put a disclaimer out there (of sorts). I love TMW for the laughs, not so much for the facts.

  • @StrengthAddicts of course, and good point. Its a shame though because theres probably hundreds of channels on youtube that mimic or resemble the hodge twins. Ok maybe not hundreds but a decent amount.

  • realistically christian just like any other amateur bb. He researches and understands the science before he makes decisions regarding fitness. (at least thats what i do) It shouldnt be a surprise that the bb industry NOW is really see and do industry. Meaning people simple follow suit and ignore the facts. The Hodge twins represent the new breed of bodybuilders. Guys who simply just do whatever they want because it feels good.

  • And Christian, just out of curiosity, have you ever got official training in either bodybuilding or nutrition?

  • @Judicial78 I've taken nutrition courses in college and I love to read books on the subject of macronutrients, training, and diet. I haven't been under any formal bodybuilding tutelage as I haven't done any shows. I have a great deal of respect for those that compete, but up until now (in 6yrs of training), it's never been something for me. Finally, I do enjoy TMW and I do think they do a good job, but their R&D is pretty hokey.

  • I like to watch TMW because like you said, they are entertaining. I am experienced enough to spot the broscience and yes, they do spout a lot of it. I also do not agree with some of their training advice. But who really knows the ultimate truth about bodybuilding and nutrition? Every few years an idea gets turned upside down. I think in the end most techniques work, the body is very adaptable and will change and mold regardless of the hand molding it.

  • @12321johndoe The video vigilante is classic!
