  • yeah I've definitely got to say those fenders look badass !

  • hey man nice truck is it a 2wd with the trd locker or a 4wd and what icon lift did you get thanks

  • That is a nice freakin truck!! Love the fenders I'm getting those on mine for sure now!

  • @Ashleykolodziej21 You know I've gotten mixed reviews on the fender flares.

I'm glad someone likes them. Everyone is telling me to do the rears too. I like

the idea of having a mean front and a solid rear. Plus you can see the rear tire

while driving. Looks really cool. You'll find out.

If I had it to do over again. I would have done it again.

  • Exhaust Video?!?!?!!?!

  • @engine47ff I'm not sure if I want to mess with the exhaust just yet. I will probably due it eventually for power only.

  • @leo76262 oh on your other video it said a video of it painted and the exhaust coming soon so i was just wondering if you had a custom exhaust

  • @engine47ff Yah, I had decided to spend the money on a Icon shock lift system instead.

I will probably eventually do an exhaust. The Icon lift system is seriously coming soon.

  • where did you get the fenders?

  • @SuperConsii Fiberwerx fender flares. Look em up. Pretty cool.

  • bonita

  • Any Driveshafts vibrations? Also did you regear? Nice Taco

  • @old12school3 I'm running stock gears right now. I guess it's a 4:10 right now stock.

I don't feel any vibrations at all. It drives really clean. Impressive for a 6 banger.

    What can I say……Toyota.

  • What size lift and how much

  • @MrElitepaintballer44 I've got a 6inch Fabtech lift.

  • @MrElitepaintballer44 HAH! Too much.

  • Do you plan to actually wheel it or is it gonna be strictly a street queen?

  • @Lynviking Oh, I'm definitely going to take it off road. I'm in the process of installing some Icon shocks for ride quality. The ride right now is way to stiff and not good for the truck.

As soon as the install is complete me and a good friend of mine are going off road.

He has got a tricked out Rubicon Jeep.

  • @leo76262

Sweet! I just ordered a 4X4 Double Cab with TRD Sport Package on Wednesday.

  • @Lynviking Congrats! You'll love it :)!

  • @Lynviking

I called the dealer yesterday and changed the order to the the TRD Off Road Package. I wrongly assumed that the 4X4 Double Cab already had off road suspension and that the Sport Package just added the hood scoop and color coded bumpers etc. I was wrong! The Sport Package has softer suspension. I'e been driving and wheeling Toyota trucks since 1985 and wouldn't dream of driving anything else.

  • @leo76262 when are we going to see some mud video.

  • @ilikesuzuki I don't know. Sometime soon. I'm getting my off road shocks installed in the next month or so, then i'm gonna hit up the trails with my Jeep buddy.

  • Nice Ride!...

  • @leo76262 Best wishes to you my friend :) Just got interested into trucks and yours is a great inspiration. I was wondering in a truck whats a good set-up to get high mpg and good hp/trq after engine mods? Like ecu, turbo, headers, and injectors ect.

  • @Napalmman0221 If you are interested in a Toyota then go Tundra 5.7 L for power with 385 hp and overall satisfaction. Ford Raptor makes a mean truck too with the 6.2 L engine pumping over 400 hp. Dodge makes a pretty good looking truck but not reliable.

  • @Napalmman0221 Offroading the Taco has got it. It's only rival is the Jeep and FJ.

Lifted my truck only gets around 16-17 mpg in city and 16-18 mpg highway.

There is the extremely popular trd supercharger for both the Tacoma and Tundra.

Sick set-up and lots of power for the money. Good luck to you in your choice of truck.

  • This is an insanely beautiful truck man. What are the tire specs ? 37X13.5X16? any cool engine mods?

  • @Napalmman0221 Good eye. They are 37x13.5xR17. Plenty big. The only engine mod is with a complete K&N air intake system. I might install an electric fan down the road. I heard that they work well. Maybe get an exhaust and remap it. Stay tuned for some serious mods very soon.

  • i miss my tacoma

  • @kctheiler Buy another one. You can't go wrong with a Taco, bra.

  • Needs jeep recovery team sticker

  • @dentaplex Nice! That's a great idea.

  • Nice truck mate

  • Nice ass truck

  • Looks great I was able to play in the snow in my new reg. cab 4x4 today I hate the trac. Control

  • @jimbell15 Yah, I hear you, bro.

  • i've been a die-hard jeeper since birth. never really liked anything else and i gotta say... this is sexy dude! i like the fact that you kept it classy and simple. great work bro

  • @PickedFirst4Kickball Well thank you. I appreciate the kind remarks. I respect Jeep. They are the only true rival to Taco and FJ off road.

  • what kind of fenders are on the front like who makes them?

  • @MattFMF They are called Fiberwerx Fender Flares. You can only order them through specialty off road shops.

  • bad ass truck dude

  • great truck!! how much that it all cost?

  • Awesome looking truck,mean looking(DEADLY.)

  • @honkytonk2010 Thx….man!

  • what suspension kit is that ?

  • @NoLgU3N It's a Fabtech 6inch lift.

  • @leo76262 thats beautiful.. u know if every trd sport are 4x4 or just some

  • @NoLgU3N No, it is a completely separate option. I've got a standard trd sport package. 4x4 was not easy to get……..so I had to go with a 2x4. I'm not at all regretful. I love my truck just the way it is. I'm gonna get a 4:88 gear. Rock N Roll.

  • niiiice truck! beautiful! what size engine and what gas mileage you think??

  • @illdieinthegym I've got a 4.0 V6, and I get around 15mpg in city and 16-17 highway.

Not great but lots of fun.

  • @leo76262 15 mpg city is great for a big truck like that! i have a 1999 dodge dakota V6 3.9 and it get like 12 city and around 15 highway. its a prerunner and i love it despite the mpg. taking it off roading this weekend. time to put its fabtech off road suspension to work!

  • Looks siickk!

  • welll done

  • super clean truck! pleaseeee, just run an exhaust now! :)

  • @famoushot21 I'll consider it. I want to use this truck for some shows eventually. I'm going to have to if I want to supercharge it. Yep.

  • Nice taco.. My dad has an 05 trd offroad with the 4.0. great truck he beats the hell outta it and 95,000 miles original clutch and he tows with it. like you said the only downfall even with his not being lifted is the gas mileage. it gets worse mpg than most full size trucks

  • @seeroy1986 Yah, but you gotta love a Taco. Best looking trucks lifted, no?

  • The sun glare makes it even more sexy

  • Why put those Flares on a Drop Bracket Lift? You won't get hardly any wheel travel with that suspension. I would of gone with a long travel over the DB lift. That's just me, cool Tacoma Though.

  • @krims0n70 I appreciate the feedback. The reason for the large fender flares is due to the fact that my tires would have gotten stuck in the stock fenders. It would have been impossible. I still need to lift it about 2 more inch.

  • @leo76262 What size tires are those? How do you plan on achieving the extra 2" of lift? Please don't say body lift :(!!!! Have you regeared yet? If so.. To what?

  • @krims0n70 They are 37's. I just want another 2 inch. of lift for the heck of it. I think that extra clearance will make my suspension system look sick. Especially since I'm going with the Icon Shocks.

I am going to get a 4:88 gear in it for sure.

  • @krims0n70 They are 37's. I just want another 2 inch. of lift for the heck of it. I think that extra clearance will make my suspension system look sick. Especially since I'm going with the Icon Shocks.

  • @krims0n70 I am going to gear this beast with a 4:88 soon.

  • @leo76262 Nice man, I bet your MPGs are killing you lol. You will notice the power come back once you regear. Any other plans for this Tacoma?

  • are those stock front fenders or are they wider fenders

  • @dgek619 No, bro. They are definitely aftermarket fenders. By Fiberwerx Fenders.

  • Is that 4.0 L or 2.7 L? Look cool

Good but 4.0 used too much gas compare to 4.7 and 4.6 They all drink gas "the same"!!

    - I rather go with 2.7L 6 speeds and save more gas!

Good Video! Thanks for Infos and sharing knowledge! my friend!

  • @CharlieDoan Yes, mine is a 4.0 L. I like the power of my truck even lifted.

Below 70mph my truck can get up and go even with the lift and big tires.

I do need to get it geared with a 4:88 gear.

  • @CharlieDoan My fuel economy sucks. I get 15 mpg in city and 16-17 mpg on highway.

Once I get the truck geared my mpg will improve a little.

Just keep in mind that a 6inch lift with 35s + can be very hard on the engine and clutch.

Just food for thought. Although you can't go wrong with any size Tacoma. Thx, bro.

  • @CharlieDoan The Tacoma is actually pretty fuel efficient for a truck. If you have the 4l V6 paired to an auto yeah it will suck back the gas quicker but with the 6 speed manual it actually gets A LOT better mileage compared to its bigger brother. The extra weight, and gas to turn an extra two cylinders adds up.

  • how much lift?

  • very nice.

  • OH, YAH!

  • thats just SICK!!!!!!!!!!

  • how much did all this cost bro

  • @willisabeast34 You really don't want to know. I'm only maybe half done too.

  • The fenders look alittle off? maybe its just the video. but they look like the color isnt the same as the body.

  • @ADudeNamedCharlie Well, the material underneath is like a composite not a fiber glass. I think that the paint job came out really good though.

  • im really a ford guy but i really like the way these toyotas look with lift kits ....ur truck looks awesome man good job

  • niiiiice! wheel it!

  • Enjoy all the rock chips coming from the tires sticking out.....I got the same set up on my 2007 call all pro for other toys for your yota

  • where did you get the custom fenders?

  • @CBarcinas671 I purchased them through the offroad shop. They are through Fiberwerx.

  • Looks killer bro!

  • it looks mean AF

  • @tru3irving Yah, it's pretty sick. Wait until I really get done with it. I lots more that I'm gonna do to it. Lots.

  • What year is that? for my first car im getting a 2010 tacoma and im planning on lifting in up and getting off-road tires aswell

  • @DespiteRumorsHD It's a 2010 with the trd sport package. This gives it the extra painted areas.

  • @leo76262 Well the truck looks sick dude, can't wait to see what else you add to it

  • i will have this truck one day!

  • @mikeee92 It takes lots of money, bro. Though I wouldn't trade it for the world.

  • sweeeeeet!!!!!

  • @jecodjrules Thx

  • Clean!!!!!!! Whats ur username on TW ?

  • @neontrail1 I don't have an account.

  • @leo76262 you should join us!

  • Boner achieved.

  • @Rockymist2 Wow, now that's funny. Although it does give you that feeling.

  • It'll handle just fine. I do need to get it geared though.

  • Great truck but let's see her actually Off-roading.

There's plenty of good places in TX.

  • Why don't you give us some actual information on the truck and mods. Wheels and wheel size (probably 17 inch) would be nice. Tire info besides the obvious 37 size (brand, model, ect.) What kind of pipe is on the truck, where you got the fender flares, how much did it cost, color painted, interior modifications, ect. Give us something man.

  • @NATERIDER122 On my other post I actually go over all those things. The Tires are a 37/13.5R17 Toyo M/T. Wheels are the KMC XD's. You might not be able to get these wheels. I did have to get them entirely powder coated. Fender flares I got through the same shop. Fiberwerx fenders can only be ordered through specialty off road shops.

  • @leo76262 Cool stuff, thanks man. Your truck looks sick by the way! I am still deciding between the tacoma and the tundra.

  • @NATERIDER122 My paint color is like a gray metallic. I have a full JL audio with speakers, amp, and 8inch woofer system. Kicks serious ass when cranked to about a 1/4 of its power.

  • @NATERIDER122 I am going to to do an all black bull bar with skid plate and led kit for the front bumper. I might do some led strips for the rear. I've already got after marked euro projector headlights. No prices.

  • @leo76262 Black bull bar and skid plate would look sick. I would stay away from exterior LEDs, especially on the front. A strip across the rear bumper MIGHT look alright.

  • @NATERIDER122 Yah, I'm not going to install exterior HID lights on a light bar, but I'm installing some interior grille small LEDs. They will be mostly concealed with extreme result. Not sure about the rear of the truck yet.

  • what year is this bad boy

  • @06TurboVtec 2010

  • man this truck looks fucking sick! I cant stop looking at it!

  • @nightkidd604 Wait until you see it next year. Going to get some more suspension and body work done around spring time. I will be doing some more serious videos.

  • I want your truck so bad!!

  • is the truck black or gray bud?

  • did you get the back bumper painted or did it come like that?

  • @cbrrx7 That is stock from Toyota. I got the trd sport package with all painted fenders.

  • Damn, Ill bet that looks HUGE in person. Nice job man, love the flares

  • @cashmab Thx. I still got a couple more things to throw at you guys. Going to be really sick when I get finished with it. I appreciate the post.

  • Can i have this truck? haha

  • @LetzTrickshot Yah. Sorry, but totally love this truck.

  • u r one lucky guy

  • @demonunleashed888 Thx. I'm blessed to be able to do this.

  • hey. nice truck. what kind of wheels and tires are those?

  • @thatwhat I am running Toyo Mts 37/13.5r17 with KMC Xdx powder coated.

  • Comment removed

  • sic truck

  • Dude i have to say this is a badass truck and also what else are you going to do to it.

  • you did a really good job on this truck. not too much. just right.

  • @88bigbyrd Thanks. I'm still working on some stuff. Not going to go over board.

  • Did you change any gear ratios for those big tires

  • @xxbigwaterxx I haven't changed the gear yet. Running stock right now. Going to get some 4:88 gears soon.

  • Thx. I am working on my next vid. Gonna be crazy. Adding Euro projector headlights.

  • hell yeah! cant wait for the next vid, keep it up man!

  • @Blacktacoma23 Hey, I appreciate it. Gonna upload another vid here pretty soon. Gotta do one more mod first.

Next vid is gonna show transformation. Way cool.

  • It actually works quite well. A little stiff though. I'm gonna raise the truck up maybe another 2 in. Gonna use the King shocks for my next project. Another 2 in. of lift will give me all the room I need.

  • How do you plan on flexing and stuffing the rear with a 37" tire?
