Take the population of different races belonging to these areas, and compare the numbers with the races committing the crimes in these areas. You'll find that the percentages match. The reason you see mostly blacks committing crime is because mostly blacks live in these areas. Any sociologist or criminologist will tell you that crime follows poverty, not race.

@blanknot That's not true, more whites live in poverty than blacks and more whites are on welfare then blacks (raw numbers). On welfare-White 38.8% Black 37.2 Hispanic 17.8 Asian 2.8 Other 3.4.. But at the same time Whites constitute the majority, with 72.4% or 223,553,265 of the population in the 2010 United States Census. And Blacks only 12.6% or 38.9 Million. Yes poverty percentage wise in the black community is higher. But no there are not more blacks in poverty than whites.

@blanknot There's a difference between living in poverty and living in a poverty stricken area. A lot of people are on welfare because they only work hard enough to get by. Living in poverty within even a semi-wealthy area allows good education and well-paying job opportunities at their finger-tips. This doesn't exist in poverty areas. They're out of reach. Those in poverty stricken areas are trapped. Even if they were able to scrummage up some money to move out, who would hire them?

You have to consider the money it would take to make the trip back and forth. They'd have to leave whatever job they have now and find a new one far away. With poor education, hygiene, and manners, no business in a higher class area will hire them. How do you expect someone from a poverty area to do this? Tell me.

I live pay check to pay check and sometimes skip meals cause i cant afford it. and do all of this with zero government help. while paying for these lazy ass people to have food stamps. Their education system and home life are not the same as those in higher classes. For example, it's common to not afford hot water, water at all, or soap. Would poor hygiene in this scenario be because of laziness, or inability? Many parents have to work multiple jobs just to afford food and shelter. How much time do you think they can spend with their kids?
