Great Animals! Thanks for the upload! However I think it is important to point out that, although smaller than the American alligator, the Chinese alligator is classed as endangered. Despite their being around 10, 000 in captivity around the world there are only around 200 in the wild in China, due to the destruction of the natural habitat, and of the 200 only 50 are believed to be mature.
I apologies if you found this comment annoying, but I thought that it would help raise peoples awareness.
Don't know if it's logistically feasible or not, but the reptile house is in dire need of expansion. Small exhibit, small homes, small...Still, nice video.
@dhoerst The Reptile House at the Cincinnati Zoo is the oldest zoo building in North America and considered a historic landmark, this limits what can be done with the facility.
@dhoerst I have heard that also about the lion house in Lincoln Park. Old beautiful buildings, but yes,. it can put a strain on expanding areas for animals.
@briczar22 This zoo has already done a lot of wonderful work, including the currently being worked on new "Africa" exhibit. There's the new "Dragons!" exhibit as well. I think the reptiles in this Reptile House are pretty calm and happy with how they've been living for the past years. :)
I heard these alligator are rare.

That railing is kind of low. Might want to build a higher one or maybe one slanting in so people can look down
