Actually I saw a show where this woman threatened to shoot herself in the head and she said to tell her relatives good bye or something and as she was walking into the house to kill herself, the cops or one of them shot her in another area to stop her. As far as the killing self thing, pills would probably be better, but regardless of how someone kills themselves they should do their research first, so that things are covered, like the man who cut his own head off.
