johnny cash didn't write the song, and no disrespect to the man, but it was one of not only his worst covers i've ever heard, but THE worst covers i've ever heard. totally ripped everything good about the original away and replaced it with nothing but a typical cash riff. original rules, this beats the cash cover by miles.
