Be sure never to shoot a Pregnant in the belly (shoot their limbs! Someone here doesn't have his Dead Space rules down pat ;-); they release those horrid little triangle creatures who come climb up your back. Use a line gun (or a plasma cutter if you must) to sever their legs, and leave the little crawly creatures inside where they belong!

For those who didnt know, to make Severed a lot easier on Zealot mode, beat Dead Space 2 on Hard Core Mode to get the Hand Cannon - and the hand cannon will be available for you in the stores in Severed! "P.S. Hand Cannon is a one hit kill and hilarious weapon making Hard Core mode worth beating to unlock it =D

@97berke look up gamefaqs.com and then look up dead space 2 and they will give you tips to make ur gameplay a lot easier - just look up cheats *thr are no cheats, but some helpful hints*

@CalmFlames Ye that would be a great tip if it wasn't near enough impossible to complete it on hardcore mode. Not to mention a huge drain on your time seeing as you need to play for like 3 hours at a time or you cant save.

@Charlottehiggins1992 ahh it took me like 3 days to beat it on hard core mode lol - a real challenge it was - saved on chapter 5, then saved on chapter 10 then chapter 13 and died a couple times in between cuz chapter 13 is a pain lol but hey its beatable lol

easyiest way to complete on zeolet mode is use hand cannon. if u completed the game on hardcore you unlock hand cannon for dlc aswell. achievement vids are great thanks for helpin me find peng.
