  • Excellent!!!!!!!!!! i'll be adding this to my repotoire! THAMKS A BUNCH !

  • i can play most of that song by watching him but the chromatic scale at 3:36-33:38 is quite a problem for me what are the intervals at that particular point

  • I've watched him play this a hundred times in slow motion, and it looks like on the descending chromatic scales he is using his weak fingers (Fingers 3,4, and 5). I can't figure out what he is doing, but whatever he is doing, it seems to get down the keyboard faster than using fingers 1 2 and 3.

  • hi i was wondering if you have the sheet music? or where you purchased it

  • Hey can you tell me were you got the soundtrack. I've been looking for that everywere and cant find it. Please let me know! thnak you! And excellent job on that song!!

  • almost....u r good!

  • Excellent Excellent! Wow, you did a great Job.

  • wow, one of my favorite songs of all time, great rendition. I just learned the "beginners" version of this song and thought I was doing well, ha ha ! only been playin a year, can't imagine ever being this good!

  • You matched Anthony's every note in the video your playing in the background. That takes skill, which is apparent in your playing. However, I would like to hear you play it without the video and Anthony's arppegios stimulating your own, that way we know for sure who's playing what.

  • Great!! You are right there with the best. This is one of the greatest renditions of this song in my opinion. Thanks for sharing your gift.

  • Yes, right up there with Anthony Burger. Keep sharing this great gift God has given you!

  • Excellent!

Where might I get sheet music for more of Anthony's hymn arrangements?

  • That was AMAZING! Thank you so much for posting this for the rest of us to enjoy!

  • That was outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great job!

  • Deserves 10 stars!! wonderful!!!!!!!

  • I've watched the man do his scale runs in person and boy you match him quite well! keep up the good work! He'd be proud he passed on his passion of piano to someone who could deliver it as well as he. :)

  • This is absolutely wonderful, I love it! Anthony Burger is my favorite pianist, but if you keep this up you might take his place. I watched this sevral times this morning and it was going through my head all day driving me nuts so I came inside and worked at it until I could play it, though not as good as you do, I'll have to practice it. Thanks and keep posting more.

  • I looked and looked everywhere for this sheet music and I LOVE this song! Its Awesome!

    Good Job!

  • I think it's in his Masterpiece collection, but it doesn't include most of the runs, etc.

  • thanks :)

  • Awesome Playing....Sounded just like Anthony

  • love this song! amazing!! how old are you and where were you playing?

  • great, perfect! 5*****************

  • Awesome!

  • You doubled Anthony almost perfect!

  • Marvellous. Your fingers float like feathers across the keys.

  • I love this song, and love to hear it when Anthony Burger played it. You did awesome! Be proud of that one! Thanks for the video!

  • Hey, AWSOME! I love the syncapation! BTW, what key is that song in? Great job, 5/5!

  • Done very well. I have had no classical training and just wondering how to do the two handed "roll" up the piano cleanly? I have my own version, but if you have a pointer, that would be great!

  • Well my right hand is doing a chromatic scale up the keyboard cleanly, while my left handed fingers are playing black notes and my thumb is playing the white notes. It did take a little while though to get it perfect.

  • I love this theme, and you did an excellent job with it. It seems like every significant pianist records some version of this song. There is an arrangement by Ferante & Teicher, and both Kartsonakis and Liberace recorded it as well. And yes, those two -chromatic scales are outrageously difficult, but you executed flawlessly. Your classical training is evident. At any rate, I enjoyed listening to you!

  • And yes I saw that video of ferrante and tiecher it was amazing ! . Do you know if they are still alive ?

  • They are both still alive, although advanced in age. From what I gather, they live down here in Florida, in the Tampa area. They live close to each other, and remain very close friends. There was even some talk a few years ago of some appearances, although I'm not sure if it ever actually happened. ;)

  • Are those runs near the end going down in Chromtaic thrids?

  • Yes, both hands are doing a chromatic scale downwards and both hands have two half steps between them.

  • maravilhoso!

  • Thanks yeah I tried to drown out anthonys playing but it was pretty hard. I used the sound track from anthony cd since I can't find the soundtrack.

  • i am impressed. i would be much more impressed if you did it without the track cause i can hear anthony in the background. those runs down the piano towards the end are very difficult, at least for me. with the track, i couldnt tell how good yours was over his. but still great job!
