Ronstadt is Hispanic and could have passed for white as was popular in this country's past history of racial inequity and God dishonoring attitudes. These are two talented and courageous people whom I admire. Ronstadt for her"cojones" for singing with a Black man and even kissing him and Neville for dealing with his personal problems and becoming productive member of society with his singing. If you don''t like them change the TV channel. It is supposed to be a free country, right?

@vdwest4592 No, she's not Hispanic. "Hispanic" isn't really the proper terminology anyway. Hardly anyone over the past several decades has actually applied the word correctly. It's specifically in reference to the Iberian Peninsula (Spain, Portugal, Gibralter, and Andorra).

She wasn't Mexican either, she was only part Mexican. The Mixican heritage that she does have came only from her father's side, and even he wasn't full blood. Her mother was of Dutch, English, and German descent.

I think that this accounts for her many duets, trios and back-ups, sometimes with established stars and at other times with those trying to make their mark. She's truly a remarkable woman, and, as blue angel writes, the Queen of singing with others. I'd just like to add that I think she's a queen in her own right as well.

Most comments on this site are fair but on other sites, malicious comments have been posted. Their authors focus on Linda's and Aaron's looks and not on their superb music. Linda and Aaron don't look the same as they did in their teens but remain beautiful, albeit in different ways, and their singing just gets better and better. Their voices are like honey and Linda has such a wide vocal range that she can meet any musical challenge. What will the mirror tell the maligners when reach their 60s?

I agree with @jfoobs. A thrilling live performance! Today's studio stuff simply can't compare. I'm the same age as Linda and I've loved her since I first heard her sing 'Different Drum'. Her voice has gone from strength to strength, as she has done as a person. Siblings who can sing often harmonize best but When Linda and Aaron harmonize, they produce the same result. As one fan said, she adjusts her vibrato to his.The result is always magic. Thanks Linda for all the joy you've given us.

Wow-I'm shocked I'm the first to post comment on this...For those that remember when the Grammies were about serious performances, REAL singing and when you had to have more than just a single studio produced "bubble gum" hit to be on that stage, this ought bring great memories- this was a flawless performance that does not at all disappoint when you compare it to it's recorded version
