Awww(: My shih tzu runs around the house just like that!! She will bark and scratch on the door! I have had my dog for about 8 years! She is getting old but she id hyper than ever! My dog Chloe she will look at herself in the mirror but she never trys to chase her tail. I'l have to wait for that to happen lol.

Heya, Im looking to get a Shih Tzu at some point this year. Im just wondering whether you would be able to clear a few things fr me?

How often do you have Lacey's hair cut? Was it fairly easy to train her? And do you think Shih Tzu's wil get on with other animals such as guinea pigs?

@623lippylol623 I take Lacey to the groomers every 8 weeks. She was easy to train - Shih Tzu's are so smart! You may want to talk to your vet about your other questions. Good luck with you new little furball :)

lol cute, running up and down the hall way was adorable! and from your videos, ive seen you have a very nice, clean, big house! i love Lacey alot! Ah, Lady, she Never, ever, did that, except when someone came inside the house! she runs after people who r riding their bikes and shell bark at people walking, and shell sleep on her back, scratch that, shell sleep in every position! once we found her back up against the couch sleeping on her head!

Actaully, Lady is sitting on my lap watching Lacey and cringing when she runs back down the hallway! Yeah, Lady is a Lazy Baby, a reason we so named her! Lacey is more like Annabell! My Cousins dog, who is so NOT a mini Shih Tzu! She can jump three feet in the air!

I know this is an old vid, but I just had to comment :)

Lacey is ADORABLE. I have a shi-tzu that turned 7 this August, and he does many of the things that Lacey does in the vid (including eagerly gnawing on chew bones, running back and forth down the hall just like a nutcase (when he's got energy to burn), and he's got some of the exact same expressions on his face when he's lying down to take a snooze (and he also lies on his back like she does!).

She's beautiful! I have 2 shih tzus when they're young like that... they're hyper and crazy. Mine didnt stop doing that kind of stuff until age 5 or 6. They're 11 now. VERY sleepy but just as cute and cuddlable! :D

Lacey sure does make a lot of noise when she runs around! I am still keeping her hair long for now, but it is getting harder to take care of. I had to cut a few mats out, but she has so much hair, you would never know. She weighs 13 pounds and been the same weight for about two months now.

Lacey can make me laugh. She is definitely a cutie. Those tail chasing skills are amazing and boy can she run.  The sweetie got all played out. She had a busy time being so playful. Sweet dreams Lacey.
