    M/sad="By Deception"

  • Thanks . Hmmm where does 'one' start.....?

The whole scenario is quite realistic .True !

'They' run all the media ,TV/radio. Ever thought about all that high tech stuff on the nature programms?- thermal/night imaging ,

long range sound 'pickup'recording , keyhole cameras , etc, etc. Well all that (exact items)can also be used on people.Well they don't call (goym)people , just targets for

    observation,intimidation and assassination.

'Their' motto is "By Deception"(M/sad) .Oh yes! They also own

  • Brilliant, thanks for this, I used to watch all of the Thriller episodes way back in the 70's

    Terry

  • Thanks so much for sharing, I really enjoyed it again! I used to watch these as a kid and remember being spooked. Not scary now of course, but that music still sends a chill up the spine!!

  • Tired and predictable!!!

  • That takes me back to my childhood, Saturday evenings at 8.00pm on the box. What a gorgeous lady Helen Mirren was then, and still is and talented too. Thank you for posting this episode.

  • Thanks for posting these! I have only been able to buy Season One on DVD (waiting for it) - wish I could find the others. HM was terrific in this one.

  • Wonderful, thank you.T.V can be so much american crap these days, you never get anything homegrown like this today.

  • Great ! Thansk for posting. I was scared stiff after seeing these when I was a young boy in the seventies. Great old memories !

  • hee hee, I wasn't totally sure it was Helen as both, they did an excellent job witht the makeup. Helen did a gr8 job altering her mannersims etc to be the old maid. Thx 4 the post. Yes you can get the entire series now on Ebay!OR check your local DVD library.

  • Excellent! I always looked forward to seeing these back in the 70's, pity you have no more.We just dont get tv like this anymore, its all reallity/cooking nowadays. Thanks for shareing.

  • Tsar Nicholas made a BIG mistake to get Colonel Mironov's granddaughter riled up!

A truly versatile and stunningly convincing performance by the great Helen Mirren.

    Deep thanks to you, lookforred.

  • There were some clips of this posted on here a while back, so I thought I had seen the WHOLE thing but clear I hadn't!

Her cackle with the music at the end is unnerving! Creepy! Love it!

Thank you sooo much for posting the ENTIRE episode!

  • Thank you for this, it was excellent. How I miss 70's tv, there were so many little gems

  • Oops...I meant crafted, not crated...lol!

  • Indeed a most excellent Thriller episode. I remember the first time I saw this one was back in the 80s under the title Kiss Kiss, Kill Kill and it became one of my favorite episodes of the series. I also like that you included the Kiss Kiss, Kill Kill opening after the ending of the episode here on YouTube as it brought back great memories. The ending was indeed very clever and is part of a very well crated story. Do you have anymore Thriller episodes? If so, I'd like to see them on here!

  • Sorry, no other episodes, but I think that recently the entire series has become available for sale.

Thanks for your comment: this is a really good tv short film endeed!!!

  • LOL: I THOUGHT there was something about Angela that reminded me of Helen but, I figured it was just my imagination!

    Very clever ending.

    Thanks again for posting this.

  • You're welcome! :)

  • @mirrenmaniac Sorry but I guessed it was helen all along, not to be a told you so or any thing ,

  • @opencurtin

LOL: No offense taken at all.

In hindsight, I should have released it the moment Angela came onscreen - with the glasses and high forehead, she was looked like the red-headed twin of HM's QEII.

But, I'm actually glad I didn't guess it - it made the surprise twist more entertaining.

And kudos to whoever did HM's make-up - the prosthetic nose looked FAR more natural than the one she sported in "Elizabeth I".
