  • my uncle flipped there in a mini sprint and went as high as those light posts. he screwed his neck up pretty good but in a mini sprint that place was dangerous. good track tho.

  • Rest In Peace George Scheffler!!!!

  • Tom Klippel announcing (RIP)...Bobby Rassmussen (RIP)...LeMay Bros, Scheffler Clan, Gil Radke doing the safety....nothing like getting home after a night of racing coated in that stuff they called "clay"....it was great!

  • i liked this place i went there when i was a kid. Best Memories: very loud and car alarms going off in the backgraound

  • All I've got off the top of my head:

    10 - George Scheffler

5 - Brett "The Jet" Sievert

    7 - "Diamond" Jim Letizia

Thanks for posting, I was at the other end of the front stretch that night.

  • The 10 and the 5 were the guys that normally drive those cars, but for this final race they handed over the wheel to legends. That's Whitey Harris in Bret's car and Wes Eckert I beleive wa sin George's car.

  • Damn good memories there. from watching my uncle Sooty run hales wales to Boby Parker growing up. Now its a fricken Menards! the owners suck for selling out!
