Jaco was the first best, but he has inspired many other great bassists, including Jeff Berlin, Mike Manring, Victor Wooten, Jim Haslip, Brian Bromberg, & the list goes on & on. He opened the door for all of us.  Jaco is immortal.

I've thot of late that Victor Wooten picked up where jaco left off and was moving the bass forward- but after theis great documentary, uh no, nobody has topped Jaco's artistry.
