@DeepSouthWrestling1 they color the cover though to lure you.. if the cover was black & white they'd sell even less. Can't be economic cheapness, even $5 micky mouse is color!
@geogodley : I think most people realize they're getting B&W with Crumb... some people actually prefer B&W to color, especially these days with all that ugly computer coloring...
i respect the Bible and don't judge what it is. learn from the parts that inspire applicable wisdom and love. only the humble can see spiritual meanings of symbolic text, or what the real message is within passages. to look at it literally is to miss the point. the beginning is symbolic. adam and eve are symbolic. the serpent is symbolic. it is all symbolic of profound truths beyond human grasp, all leaning towards trusting the source of all realities. beyond religion and science: character
what the Bible and what life is ultimately about: Character--Character must be earned, chaos is the result of decisions. the world you're presently in is the result of previous decisions
cant beleive they didnt color it. even tintin was in color in 1930 WTF get a clue publishitbags!

@geogodley : I believe Crumb is actually more comfortable in b&w... he draws for b&w... too much cross-hatching and detailing for color...
