  • My biology professor used this clip in class. So awesome!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH

  • ive been looking for this clip thanks

  • Reminds me of Spore hahaha

  • Much more sensible than evolving longer necks to reach the bug alone.

  • I could watch this for hours... I wish they had included more stages

  • would be funny if the bug ate em both

  • Comment removed

  • lol this is cool

  • It does make you wonder.

If this is constantly going on, how will hunmanity develop, now that we have no predators?

  • @TheJboy88

    no

human race will die sooner or later

    that´s they way of life

  • @TheJboy88

    Depends what you call "predator".

Plagues and diseases were and still are, our downfall in many situations.

Other than that, we're predators to ourselves.

  • @TheJboy88 Humanity will turn on eachother.

  • 0:20 because life is a team game ^.^

  • @divinesleeper Yeah, this is a bit simplified but it's meant to be a joke and those of us who are actually taught evolution are usually taught that it is pure vicious dog eat dog survivalism without any room for peace or cooperation.

  • @SpellboundSolution all the more reason to leave that part in :P

  • @SpellboundSolution I've never perceived it as a dog eats dog. XD That just sounds negative. More like the team with better equipment, however slight the enhancement might be, has a higher chance of succeeding at the game. And I've had two separate classes on it from two different teachers. Maybe you need to find someone else to teach you about it. Or a different perspective.

  • @Chiisaisan Yeah, I was being facetious.

  • @Chiisaisan IT IS a dog eat dog. Watch when monetary system collapse. We will be like the cavemens of old. Human flesh tasted delicious to them.

  • @SpellboundSolution And yet the two dominant spiecies on the planet are cooperative, and fall apart when they are dog-eat-dog.

    So yeah...

  • getting cancelled was the best thing that ever happened to Futurama. since they have been free of Fox they can be scientific. There were some great episodes in season 6. Also the first two episodes of the new season.

  • getting used at seeing leela on this show is making the one-eyed snake look normal

  • The only winner is the bug.

  • There's a guy at 0:05 who's eyes are just everywhere

  • This is actually very accurate

  • "Two alien species so ancient that compared to them, the human race is a mere college senior."

    Dude, it's a snake and a frog.

  • @oisinallen Thats what they want you to think.

  • this is actually pretty smart

  • Yay!

  • Reptilians

  • which episode this is from

  • apprently the snake can chew its food

  • This is making me wanna watch futurama!

  • This is from one of the movies right? Havent seen this before I'm sure

  • Go snake ! :D

  • This reminds me of me and women.

    I try this...fails.

Ok, I try that, fails again.

    Then...what about this?...Fails.

    Lol.

  • there is no telling what nature can cook up on a distant planet I mean just look at Monotremes and Marsupials

  • This isn't how it works, dammit!

    1) Imagine two members of a species, constantly mutating every generation due to various in or out factors. Most mutations are useless and unnoticeable

    2) Environment constantly changes, and one mutation made one member adaptable to a particular environment at particular time

    3) That member passes its gene to its descendant, while its unlucky neighbor's descendants gets f***ed over and out. This continues on over millions of years, creating gradual change.

  • @TheVoiceOfReason93 NO! PUNQTUATED EQUILLIBRIA!

  • So the moral of the story is be the bug...

  • favourited :D

  • One has to question why the snake keeps getting on the frogs back.

  • @SpadaccinoLuciano to ge tto the bug du'h

  • @SpadaccinoLuciano For the lulz.

  • @SpellboundSolution The snake likes to eat that insect.

  • @SpadaccinoLuciano cuz they need each other to get to the bug and cuz it's a cartoon i guess

  • @SpadaccinoLuciano

It's because there became two types of frogs, the nice frogs (helps snake) and the jerk frogs (eats snake). Losing the "get on frog" genetics would mean the snake would starve to death if they didn't develop an alternative method of food gathering. The inflate mutation still allowed food gathering with nice frogs while protecting it from jerk frogs.

I would question why the frog didn't lose the "eat snake" adaption that had begun to interfere with food collection.

  • @SpadaccinoLuciano

to reach the bug on the leaf

  • @SpadaccinoLuciano the first two times because it thought they were co-operating for the thing on the leaf, and every time after that because it thought (sometimes rightly, sometimes wrongly) that it had the upper hand and could eat the other one

  • yep. that's pretty much how it goes down. ^^

  • so the bug wins in the end

  • @InuyashaFE "Lol, yeah, it takes a ton of imagination to come up with a joke this hilarious, grounded in reality. :)"

Sure does take imagination, but it get tedious drawing them out. Jokes only work on people when they recognize themselves or others they know in it. I bet you know a Homer, and don't say Peter Griffin :)

Do you think that was an aluminium foil hat or a tin foil hat or maybe a new element we don't have foil hat?

  • @Derax2 Bananas.

  • hehe the bug survived

  • Ha, our ecology prof. played this is lecture

  • @SpellboundSolution No its not, since when did Futurama tell lies?

  • @SpellboundSolution

Oh I know its a joke, i'm not saying its not... i'm just saying its basis are from reality....a joke can be funny and true

  • this is an exagerrated joke of reality....a good example is deer and tiger. the tiger and deer keep up with new methods of escaping and hunting.... right now I think the deer is doing well with its new- zig-zag jumps.

  • @cheeselover04 and your right it is a bit exaggerated but it does follow (somewhat) the order of natural selection, and natural competition. I love the LAWS OF EVOLUTION.

  • so evolution really happened, if you have a good imagination...lol^^

  • @roniepao "So evolution really happens."

    Fixed.

  • Haha pretty clever!

  • Genius, just genius

  • This is amazing quality!

  • i love futurama thnx for uploading

  • LAWL???!!! XD =D

  • What episode/movie is this from? I thought I'd seen them all.

  • Futurama: Into the Wild Green Yonder

  • into the wild green yonder.... yes that was kinda sucki

  • @piepotatosandturtles But it was all that was left of Futurama until three hours ago.

  • yeh man thanks for uploading this, just really fancied watching the clip. very cathartic :D

  • thank you for uploding !

  • Just Amazing!
