  • Very cool. But you should also mention for the women who might like a little more decoration, that you can dress these up a bit with pieces old jewelry you don't wear anymore, single earrings, stuff like that. A little strong glue should work. All kinds of things to do with these Home Depot items.

  • @nancileh33 That's a great idea. Just this morning, I saw a pair of shoes decorated with old jewelry and it looked great. Thanks for sharing!

  • this would look great on my reading table

  • @phaelangels Let me know if you make them. Send pictures!

  • Great job Patricio! You Canadians are brilliant!

I have the same thing in my office for my curtain rod. I knew I was missing something...candle holders! Home Depot here I come!

    Thanks Patrick, keep them coming.

  • @malanca1 Thanks, John. You're up early! There was a time when I made, literally, hundreds of these and sold them at retail stores around Vancouver. I also sold them at the local flea market. Fun.

  • Brilliant at online marketing AND handy too! Love it Patrick.

  • What a great idea. They look great and are easy to make. I'll share this tip with my mommy friends who might want to have their kids make these for holiday gifts. I know what my kids are giving this year!
