  • @crazy8sx08, no that's what happens when an engine has 180k+ miles on it. I always warmed it up properly.

  • thats what happens when you dont let the car warm up then romp on it like ur running from the cops.

  • Mine does that sometimes at idle on warmed up engine. Idk maybe it can be major shaft play in turbo and subies shitty idle bouncing the busted turbo guts around. Lol it still works so I ain't gonna fix it :/

  • That is absolutely rod knock. Need a new motor or at least a new rotating assembly if you haven't screwed the cylinder walls.

  • Did you find out what it is? mine make the exact same sound.

  • @smokey14242 Two independent shops call it rod knock. I've been nursing it until I get a new car. That's all I can say. :)
